"Overall, the house worked well for us, and we had a blast on the water. The home had a nostalgic feel, was well stocked, and had everything we needed. The location was great, and we especially enjoyed the rope swing and kayaks.We did have an unusual experience on our first evening, which I’m sure was just a fluke. Although check-in was at 4:00, the host’s friend/maintenance guy was still there when we arrived around 5:30 to greet us with his dogs, and remained until well after we returned from dinner around 8:30. I guess after getting things set up and turned on, he stayed by the water working on his jet ski before taking it for a spin and returning - he was very excited about having the part to fix his jet ski. He was a really nice guy and all, but it felt weird not having the place to ourselves and prevented us from really enjoying the waterfront that first evening.I contacted Chuck twice about the Wi-Fi and TV because the house manual wasn’t located somewhere easily visible, and he responded both times. However, when I reached out a third time to ask whether we would be sharing the lake access all weekend and explained the friend situation, I never received a response. That said, we did have the place to ourselves for the rest of the weekend.The plant across the water was also fairly loud, but we turned on the fan at night, slept fine, and eventually got used to it. Despite a couple of hiccups, we enjoyed our stay and made some great memories on the water."

"It was a really clean environment, there were no problems. They provided ice for us and the AC was pretty good. The beds were made perfectly and it was super nice, felt like we were on the perfect vacation and the golf course was nice to look at through our balcony. Our kids had so much fun playing hide and seek, it was a really big area and they didn’t make a mess at all. We really hope we can come again, super fun and great service!"

"We enjoyed our visit to the property. The host was friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. The property was comfortable and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the downstairs outdoor area where we could grill, hang out, and watch the kids play. The storage cabinets had just about everything we needed for grilling, and bug spray which came in handy for mosquitos. The kids enjoyed smores one night at the fire pit, which was conveniently ready to go with branches. The only minor issue we encountered was that the AC had a hard time keeping up with the afternoon heat, even with setting the thermostat at a conservative temperature. It would eventually cool down to the desired temperature around bedtime. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a getaway!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The house was exceptionally clean and very well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The beds were comfortable, and the entire home felt welcoming and cozy. It was clear that the hosts put a lot of thought into making guests feel comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Beautiful location on the Guadalupe River and attractive home setting for our large group. It was somewhat crowded and inconvenient in some of the bedroom areas with multiple rooms sharing the same bath only accessible through other bedrooms. Overall a very pleasant stay with several family areas for our group to enjoy. Kitchen amenities were very good. Thanks for good communication from our host."
