Gem of our trip

Great place, super friendly and professional staff - some of the best we met across Northern Tanzania and Zanzibar. Hotel is 15 minutes walking distance to the lake with all its amazing abundance of birds. We went there by ourselves and enjoyed meeting a team of zebras in the bushes nearby :) Bring local Masai if you are not comfortable walking on your own in African nature. Chilling in the pool with awesome views was a special delight on hot afternoons. Rooms are all new, clean and taken care of. There was no wifi when we were there, so the hotel manager offered to share his 3g hotspot - did not work well enough anyway, but being in a distant area of Africa that is not a surprise. Keep in mind that lake Natron is a windy spot, so the tent may go noisy at night. That did not create any inconvenience to us though

Quiet time in a unique setting

Absolutely incredible time at Lake Natron - definetely worth the (slightly) challenging drive. Staying at Africa Safari only made it better - Edwin the manager and his team were super attentive, the pool was perfect and the tents were in perfect condition. The excursions organised through the camp we’re great quality - the guide Samuel was very knowledgable and spoke a good level of english. Would highly recommend everyone to stay there a relaxing, unique time.
