"This is an amazing property built in the late 60's. Very rustic and built into a rock mountain with fantastic views over the Northern Serengeti. You must appreciate rustic and that not always will you have power and hot water, it is very very remote and difficult to get to. I'm an adventurer and this was my favorite of all the places we stayed, but not for everyone. It could use some maintenance, but overall the food was great and is a one of a kind accommodation. "As the name would imply, the hotel is located uphill from the main street of the town. The rooms were spacious and were separated by a wall, so each person had their own section. The bathroom was an issue as the toilet, sink and shower were all in the same place, so that if someone had a shower, the whole floor would get wet. The wi-fi was inconsistent but worked better in the dining area. The restaurant had minimal options and you had to order what you wanted for the evening hours beforehand. I...
