"Wonderful stay. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen, lots of dishes, silverware, pots and pans (one thing I would suggest is a new can opener the one there does not work well). Beds were comfortable. The host was very accommodating (we locked the keys in the house and she responded to us right away). Would stay there again. Went to pocosin nature preserve to photograph the tundra swans. Drove to pea island for more photography. Excellent trip."

"The accommodation was well appointed. Excellent kitchen with necessary items, very clean and well featured bath, comfy bedroom and lovely living/dining space. And, the view is breathtaking. Edenton, NC is a gem, one that needs to be explored for its beauty and history."

"It was great to return to the Fairfield area. This house is in an excellent location, close to the lakes & preserves. The address now brings you directly to the driveway via gps. A few years ago that wasn’t the case. The only critters I saw in the house weren’t cringeworthy at all, a cricket & a ladybug. It would have been nice to have access to ice or even a tray that I could fill & freeze. I would definitely return again!"
