"The room was clean and the bed was absolutely comfortable. It was quiet setting, The pool and hot tub was perfect and the front desk was very pleasant and helpful and they made you feel very welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend for a place of quiet downtime. 💞"

"There were pubic hairs in the shower bottom, along with long curly head hair wrapped around the shower faucet. The room was dark, and I was still able to see that it had been a long time since someone dusted or looked at the top of the curtains. The cobwebs appeared to have been there for a very long time. "

We couldn’t get a reservation at Blue Wings Saloon nearby for Valentine’s Day, and the owner / manager made it happen for us - which was a welcome treat after a long day of travel. Will definitely stay again, here or at any other property of this group."

"As noted in other reviews, this facility is well-located, nicely maintained and clean. Bed was comfortable and everything worked. BUT- I had among the worst check-in experiences ever. Arriving at 9:30p after a long day, the door and night window were locked. I repeatedly called the two posted numbers and rang the night bell, waiting in the cold for over 10 minutes. When the groggy (?) clerk finally arrived, he was apparently unable to login to the reservation system to check me in. He finally gave up, and said he’d give me a room key, and the transaction would be taken care of in the morning. Of course, the room key didn’t work, and after a further delay, he was able to get me into a room on the second floor - nearly 30 minutes after I arrived. And unsurprisingly, the office was locked and unattended the next morning. Definitely not recommended."

"We booked this home last minute for Labor Day weekend, and it turned out to be the perfect getaway for our fishing family. The location felt like our own private retreat — no neighbors on either side, a spacious backyard leading right to Clear Lake, and a dock that made it feel like we were on our own little island.The house itself was cozy, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable family stay. We spent the weekend fishing, relaxing, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It wasn’t just a rental; it felt like a home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot and would absolutely come back again!"
