Charming Adirondack Log Cabin PRIVATE BEACH ACCESS to Mirror Lake

Charming Adirondack log cabin located on prestigious Mirror Lake Drive with a PRIVATE BEACH ACCESS that is only 120 feet away from the cabin to Mirror Lake for swimming, kayaking or paddling. We also provide 1 single kayak, 1 tandem kayak and 2 paddle boards for our groups. We have 5 life jackets/PFD's.

In our large backyard, there is a brand new grill, with a 6 person spa and an outdoor fire pit for a good time between family and friends.

Basically, when you come to the log cabin, everything you need and expect is there. That's why most of our groups come back year after year, because it's a stress free quality time with people you love.

As for the COVID19 crisis situation, our cleaning team is doing more than extra cleaning between each groups to make sure everything is sparkly clean. Your safety is our TOP priority.

The lake, one of the most beautiful lake in the United States, with no motor boat allowed, offers sand beach ; no mud at all. Featuring two master bedroom suites each with full bath, a third bedroom and guest bath, vaulted great room with skylights, stone wood burning fireplace and wide plank wood floors throughout the cabin. Kitchen with rustic wood breakfast bar and granite counters is open to the dining area and great room. Large covered front porch and rear covered porch with hot tub. Detached 2 car garage, wood shed and large private rear lawn area. Within walking distance to Main St. shops, restaurants, beaches and tennis

Lake Placid in June

I enjoyed the beautiful country of upstate NY. I love this location, the cabin is right in the middle of all that I went to see! This must be why I keep staying here.

Really enjoyed our stay. Would strongly recommend the owner get an auto shut off coffee maker. Otherwise property is beautiful and they are making upgrades.

Perfect Retreat

Our book club recently stayed here for our Readers Retreat. It was the perfect setting for our group to relax, read, and unwind in a beautiful setting, immaculate home with such care to details and decor. The hot tub was also a highlight of this property and we were very close to town and spas for additional outings. Five stars from the Between The Wine Book Club!

Just what we were looking for!

We were so happy with our New Year's stay. The cabin was decorated for the holidays and so warm and cozy. About a 25 minute walk to town. Would definitely recommend.

Easter Weekend

We spent a quiet weekend out of town at this lovely cabin. We enjoyed all the space with the three full bathrooms! We spent time on the front and back decks and really enjoyed the hot tub every night. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Great short stay in Lake Placid

The house was a great base to explore the area, then come back to comfortable and functional spaces. A spacious area to relax and unwind by the large tv and fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, powerful hot tub and comfortable beds are all great features. We also used one of the kayaks on mirror lake via the homeā€™s access across the street which was wonderful. Appreciated being able to have a cool climate-controlled bedroom as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Lake Placid Getaway

We stayed as a family of four at this wonderful cabin. The owners were very easy to deal with and very attentive. We had one small issue and it was taken care of immediately which was wonderful. The location is amazing and the property is beautiful. We are already looking to book next year. Thank you kevin for the wonderful stay.

Beautiful Log Home in Great Location

We stayed with our child and another family with their 2 children. Had a great time. Enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub, plus found it an easy walk from Lake Placid Brewing Company. Had a couple minor things come up and owner was incredibly helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommended!

Wonderful property

The house was perfect. Great layout with kitchen, family, and dining room all open space. Great backyard with firepit for kids to play. Hot tub was perfect for the kids. Location easy to all main st shops/restaurants and Whiteface skiing. Few minor issues, communication with the owner was easy and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Family gathering

We absolutely loved the beautiful log cabin. It was the perfect accommodations for our family gathering, celebrating my Moms 90th birthday. We loved the Adirondack decor throughout the cabin. The home was warm and cozy with the fireplace and lighting and worked very well serving dinners for the family In the open dining area. We loved the large kitchen, fireplace, washer and dryer, private bathrooms in two of the bedrooms and hot tub on the deck. The location was so convenient. We enjoyed walking into town and up the Cobble Hill Trail.we would definitely love to stay in this charming log cabin on our next visit to Lake Placid.

Beautiful Log Cabin

Rented the property as an alternative to our usual travelling due to the pandemic. Took out daughter and son in law which worked out beautifully. The home is nicely appointed, very cozy and was a short walk to the beach . The home was well supplied with propane and fire wood which we used in the outside fire pit. All in all it was a great choice and will choose this venue should we return to Mirror Lake..

Wonderful Cabin in a Great Location!

We were thrilled to see this cabin up for rent again! We stayed here many years ago when it had a different owner and are happy that this owner is sharing it as well! This is a cozy cabin with bathrooms for each bedroom (two en suite and one a few steps out into the hallway) which was important to us as we were traveling with our son and girlfriend and a close friend. The location is amazingā€¦on the road circling Mirror Lake yet still private with lake access right across the road. We walked to town to shop and to stop in some of the many restaurants and bars. Every day we walked around the lake to take in the views and enjoy the fresh air. The hot tub was a great way to end the day and my husband got a fire going out in the backyard to take away the fall chill. This place would be excellent in the winter too with a nice wood burning fireplace in the living room. Football and chili by the fire after a day in the snow is definitely next on our list when we rent here again. The owner is very prompt with communication and we appreciated his quick resolution to a minor concern.

This was a great place to stay in Lake Placid that was in the ideal location--away from the business of the downtown area, but close enough to walk to the downtown area, and it is a scenic walk around the lake. Staying here gives you the feel of staying in a mountain lodge. There was plenty of room for 5 people, and the house was well-attended with all the amenities we needed. It was a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. My only suggestions would be: provide clearer instructions on how to the heating/air conditioning units work, and provide clearer instructions about where the access to the lake is. Other than that, this is a very nice, affordable place to stay that I would recommend without hesitation.

Good- but house -has a musty smell. Could use more lights inside; not as proximate to beach as advertised. Hot tub was a bit dirty and would not shut off. AC not working well in queen bedroom. Porch furniture was dusty on arrivalI would return--just some constructive feedback. Good location to village; owner is great. Need cotton bedding -not polyester. Towels were good.

Best in Lake Placid

We are repeat winter visitors to the cabin. For our family there is no better lodging rental in Lake Placid. Spotlessly clean upon arrival, warm and welcoming each visit. Perfect location for access to events, restaurants and sights in the High Peaks area. The host is very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We plan to visit again next year.

ABSOLUTELY CHARMING CABIN!!!

This cabin far exceeded its description! Kevin was very communicative and check in was a breeze! Lots of snow and the driveway was plowed for us. He even had the Keurig upgraded since the one there was not working. Very warm in the winter which kade our stay very cozy. Highly recommend!!
