Permit#200220. Rustic motif in this beautifully furnished 2 story, 2 bedroom town home on the 18th fairway of historic Whiteface Golf Club. Views of the amazing Adirondack mountains and within very short walking distance to shores of Lake Placid. Whiteface Club visitor passes* provided for Club shore and beach access. Wood burning fireplace/wood provided. Deck with flower gardens overlooking golf course. WiFi enabled. Cable television. Queen sofa bed. Cross country skiing in/out from deck. Bicycles (2) available in 1 car garage. Full kitchen completely provided with utensils, dishes, pots, pans, microwave, coffee makers (K-cup and drip),etc. Linens and towels provided.Trash and plowing service provided as well. Minutes from downtown Lake Placid as well as golf, tennis, cross country skiing, sleigh rides available.

Wonderful property

Spacious with beautiful views

This property is very comfortable, for families or groups, with well-equipped kitchen, and a well-placed dining area with access to the porch and lovely views of the open space. It is, however, difficult for people with limited mobility, because of the steep stairs to the bedrooms and full bathrooms.

Lake Placid - Great Location

My family stayed in Lake Placid for my son’s hockey tournament. Instead of staying in hotel, we chose this townhouse for comparable price and more space and amenities. Great location on golf course, walking distance to lake, and 5 min drive to downtown. Very clean and spacious and would recommend to others.

Christmas Break

We stayed between Christmas and New Year's Eve. Great location, just a short drive to town. Very quiet, even though it's a condo attached to additional units. The location is on a golf course, we took walks every day, it's a beautiful area. Although not "luxurious" this rental is a great stay for the Lake Placid area. We would stay here in the future.

The property had a great location in a quiet neighborhood with a nice view of the golf course. The property was clean and well stocked. However we were disappointed that the windows upstairs wouldn’t open and the gas grill was missing. Lastly the door on the lazy Susan was broken

Nice option by the lake

This is a nice little place that is very functional and has the big bonus of access to the lake & its activities by virtue of being part of the Whiteface Resort. The owner was very nice and very fair when I had a minor (unusual it seems) issue the first day and refunded me part of my stay due to it. Owner lives abroad so best to communicate questions early in case there is a delay in response.

1980s charm, but needs a little TLC

We stayed at this 1985 time capsule during our winter ski trip to Whiteface mountain and Lake Placid.Pros:The living room is super cozy thanks to the fireplace and the copious free wood provided by the host (bring you own fire starters, though). Also, the location is great... not too far from downtown and near a few clubhouses. Also, the original 1985 GE refrigerator is a testament to the craftsmanship of American-made products of that era. Still working like a champ after decades of use... they sure don't make them like that anymore.Needs Work:As others have mentioned, some areas are in desperate need of renovation. For us, it was the bathrooms that need the most attention. Mold everywhere, but especially in the showers. Also, bring your own body wash and shampoo. Those were not provided.Overall, for the cost I thought it was fine. Cozy, comfortable but needs a little TLC.
