10/10 Excellent

"a Lovely place to stop and rest. The staff was wonderful-always helping when we needed it. Especially because the entrance door to our room was INSIDE the entrance to the room next to ours!! It opened into a small hallway and our door was to the left, but the neighbors (whose entrance was for BOTH of us) didn't know that and dead bolted the door so we couldn't get back in! The gals in the front called them to let them know and we had no problems after that. Still, it was a strange thing. But the grounds were well managed, everything was clean, and they even had a DOG BATH, which we made use of. There was a hug bar up above the office entrance, but we never went there. I don't remember seeing any swings and slides for kids, but the place was so large, there could have been in another area. DEFINITELY A GREAT PLACE TO STOP AND ADVENTURE OUT FROM."

"I arrived on Sunday, 05/10. Upon my arrival, the attendant informed me that my booking was actually for the following Sunday, 05/17. I asked them to transfer it and I was informed that they do not transfer reservations and that I would need to call the booking company. I reached out to "Best Hotel Deals" to no avail as they were unavailable. I was forced to make a second booking with "Hotels.com" at a much higher rate. My overall stay went from $806 to $1400+. When I was finally able to get in contact with "Best Hotel Deals", they informed me that they reached out to Marriott and Marriott informed them that they would be making no refund, not even a partial. "Best Hotel Deals" informed me that I would need to reach out to Marriott. Well, I have and it has been fruitless as they do not accept calls or return messages. Moving forward, as a company, we will remove Marriott from our available lodging list which is unfortunate, as the Metairie location is only minutes from one of our corporate offices."

"This hotel was not clean, it looks very run down and nothing like the pictures on the site. It had a terrible smell and I could not stay here. I had to cancel my reservation. There is some construction going on the, the rooms look dirty, rusting on all hardware and furniture with stains and burn holes. Would not recommend this stay."

"Hotel is beautiful! Right in the middle of everything: Jackson Square and Bourbon Street. The food/drinks were delicious, entertainment was great and the staff were amazing!! Big shout out to Philip!!! He’s great at his job and you can tell he loves it! So professional and attentive to his customers! "

"Do not stay at this property. The front desk staff whom was a man kept announcing everyone’s room number outloud. This is a motel where escorts work and the pictures are deceiving. The breakfast was nonexistent and there were bugs all over the floor in my room. The scariest part of my experience was receiving a conjoined room and waking up at 4 am to sounds of someone trying to enter my room. As soon as I turned the lights on the noises stopped and whoever was in the room next to me left. I told the man at the front desk that someone tried to get into my room and he said “who was it? You didn’t look out the window” i immediately checked out and lost money on a room they was not safe."
