"What a gem! Beautiful, peaceful property on the lake with access to kayaks and fishing. Conveniently close to town. Communication with host Kathy was great. She made us feel very at home with her welcome book and the t-shirts and coozies were so fun. Time spent on the large deck was so enjoyable. We are in love with this place and cannot wait to book it again for next year. "

"This hotel is absolutely gross and severely rundown. Flooring was completely missing in areas, there were horrendously poorly patched holes in the walls, the bathroom sink light didn’t work at all, the toilet was overflown into the floor when I arrived. I had to get a new room, and that toilet was clogged. The curtains had all kinds of cuts and holes in them. The lampshade was stained from some dried liquid on it. There was no rod on the closet rack. It was just very gross. It’s outrageous for this company to accept money from people to stay here and not do basic maintenance and upkeep."

"Thw reason I gave the crappy rating is because the towels were grayishand not bright white like we've all come to expect at hotels. The lady that worked the evening to night shift seemed annoyed when we arrived and unfortunately set the tone. I was so in disbelief about the towels I had to ask for more but by this time the overnight person was there and yup you guessed it, he was also annoyed. I guess something was broken cause he mentioned something about something but anyway when I told him the see he literally blank stared me for a sec. He did give them to me though. The morning person and the person in the breakfast are pretty much made up for it since they were soooooo pleasant. My daughter had such a good time with the lady in the breakfast area and it really set the tone for the rest of the day. THANK YOU! I wrote this review because Stevie could have seen those towels should have been removed from service but they weren't and they had the nerve to be annoyed with me. Do better Hampton."

"Great little cabin, clean and decorated very nice. Parking was great. Double bed could use a new mattress."
