"The room was clean and the breakfast was great. The only thing we had a little issue with was the parking, but it wasn't too bad. There was one spot in front of each room, which would seem to me that people would park in the spot closest to their room (though they aren't numbered, so it's not like they were assigned spaces), but "our" spot was always taken. It was mainly annoying because our kiddo is in a wheelchair and it just would have been nice to be closer. (And...Apparently Room #1 is the best one to have because a guy in the office tried to get me to sell it to him for 10 NeeDohs...It was a very nice room, but I don't know how it compares to the others)"

"This lovely unit was clean and exactly as presented. I met Christin and her husband briefly and immediately liked them. I used the hot tub several times and the kitchen contained everything that I needed. I love critters of all types and so I enjoyed walking by the chicken coop several times and laughing at the rooster crowing in the morning (not too early or too loud!). I hope to go back at least once a year to this little home away from home! I was especially grateful for the list of places to hike. I’ve spent a great deal of time in the past on the McCloud River and in the MacArthur-Burney Falls area, but not so much near Shasta. I was so glad that I chose this location this time. I did several of the hikes listed in the information provided by Christin and ate at one of the restaurants they recommended in Dunsmuir. All was just great!"
