"Great spot for a weekend away"

"Everything was perfect and the house was spotless. We wanted an escape to silence and this checked every box! The sauna is such a treat for relaxation. As a recent breast cancer survivor, this slice of heaven helped me. I sat and read my Bible from so many spaces looking out to nature feeling close to God. This was our second stay in the home and we will be back!"

"Kirk was flexible with a reasonable departure time amendment (at no extra cost)! So, we had a place to stay until time to visit the nearest church. The place was impeccably decorated with rustic cozy architecture! Loved the kitchen area and gas log fire as an optional heat source. The barn doors on the bedrooms was another great idea to add to the rustic vibe. Beautifully situated in a mountainous country setting yet convenient to lots of great restaurants and the Blue Ridge Mall."

"Beautiful home"

"This is our second time at Ma & Pa's because we love it so much. It feels straight out of a fairytale. We go to work, reconnect, and relax which is hard to nail all at once, but this cabin helps us do just that. It is close enough to town to hop out and grab a bite, but cozy enough to stay in and cook. We do both. We love crossing the bridge to get in the cabin and the lights at night make it feel magical. We love it as a couple, but can't wait to bring our kids here one day too. There is plenty of room while still giving parents their own space. We are not a big tech family so the fact there is only one tv is perfect! Our last trip was during a time with snow. Everything was still safe and accessible while feeling like we were in a Hallmark movie. The only suggestion would be to bring your own pillows if you do not like big pillows and I would love for a secondary lock on the side doors for a touch of added safety. However, we are already booking our next stay.... until we find a cabin that can compare to buy for ourselves!"
