"A nice and more affordable option for those visiting North Lake Tahoe. The Granlibakken has an old-school Tahoe vibe, which can be both charming and dated. This particular room, while checking all the boxes, definitely has a bit of "staying the night at Grandma's house) vibe. Furniture is fully functional, but could use an upgrade. Overall, would stay again for the price, but would enjoy it more with a little refresh."

"The place was super clean and set up very nicely. The kitchen area was modern and well-equipped. The unit was ready for us upon arrival. Through no fault of the property owner and manager, the street noise was incredible. The windows are thick and helped quite a bit. The fact that it was the 4th of July weekend did not help. Driving the car in and out of the parking area along the busy road can be a challenge, but like the property manager will tell you, turn right only out of the lot and...

"We had a great stay. The property was EXACTLY as advertised, the check-in/check-out instructions were thorough and easy to follow, and the host was attentive but not intrusive. (By this I mean he reached out via text/phone to make sure we got in ok, that we had everything we needed, and that our check out went smoothly.)The location was very convenient to all the things we wanted to do and see in the Lake Tahoe area. There were many eating and shopping establishments within a 5-10 minute walk...
