"Breakfast beats most hotels providing free breakfasts. The staff was exceptionally helpful and cheerful. The room is decent size and clean."

"Given the price I paid for my stay at the hotel, I don't think the value matches the cost. There are hotels with lower prices, but these are much more comfortable and convenient. We chose a hotel package that included breakfast, but there was no breakfast available. The only option was a buffet at an additional cost. The buffet wasn't worth the money either. We also chose a hotel with parking though we had to pay extra for it."

"The property had beautiful grounds. However, they’re very strict about quiet hours. During check-in, the representative spoke so fast because it seemed that she did not want to explain the rules and policies of the hotel so we missed half of the information that was “explained to us.” There was plenty of parking, which is a plus, however they charge for parking per night which due to the high cost of the hotel, you would expect parking to be included or bike rentals because you’re also paying for resort fees. Overall the cost of the hotel does not represent what you would expect you get from the hotel. "

"Charming historic hotel in a very convenient downtown location. It’s within walking distance of many restaurants, Fisherman’s Wharf, Cannery Row, and the Presidio of Monterey, which made exploring easy. Parking was affordable in a nearby public garage, which was a nice bonus for the area. The hotel has a lot of historical charm and character. My only downside was the lack of air conditioning, which would have made the stay more comfortable."

"Clean room, neighborhood ok"

"This hotel was not good. Tiny, dusty room. It was not completely finished which caused it to be dusty. This dust was not well cleaned either. Pictures included. The room was quite small with the toilet being out in the open. Shower was small but decent with a rainfall shower. The lights were very finicky and not always working. There was only ever 1 person working and the service was not great. I asked for extra towels and they must have forgotten because I never got them. The phone in our room was broken and they said they would fix it but never did. They don’t clean the rooms daily either. Breakfast was not much. The lounge area was ok. Location was easy enough with public transportation very accessible. Would not recommend walking around too much by yourself. "

"The entire staff was phenomenal. They all went above and beyond to make sure my experience was the best possible. I’ve never stayed at a Club Quarters. Now, I will become a regular! "
