Stellar, Mountainside at Northstar's newest neighborhood is situated mid-mountain just below the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe. This mountain modern residence is set along Northstar's Home Run ski run, offering an unbeatable location and incomparable views. The home is influenced by contemporary European mountain living and provides slope side access to ski runs and hiking trails. The fresh, progressive design offers seamless indoor/outdoor living with floor to ceiling windows, massive sliding doors, large exterior living spaces, and a private hot tub and fire pit. The thoughtfully designed floor plan features a two-story, open layout with two primary suites, two guest bedrooms, and a massive media room with custom built-in sleeping spaces for six. Only a short shuttle or walk (walk only suggested during summer) to the Ritz-Carlton where you can enjoy an evening drink, a day at the spa, or fine dining in one of the many Ritz-Carlton restaurants. From the Ritz-Carlton, you can take a gondola ride to the vibrant Village at Northstar where there are shops, restaurants, skating rink, and often après live music.

Guests enjoy access to the private homeowner's amenities located at the Tree House, which includes a community gathering place complete with an outdoor saline pool, hot tub, fitness facility, lounge, game room, and outdoor summer sport court. A truly one-of-a-kind mountain experience awaits at Stellar!

- The maximum occupancy of this residence is limited to 10 adults plus 4 children under the age of 12. Groups that exceed the maximum occupancy limit will not be accepted.
- The maximum number of cars allowed are 2 in the driveway plus 2 in the garage. Parking on the street is not permitted.
- Please note that this is a ski-in/ski-out residence only when weather permits. We do not offer discounts/refunds for lack of snow.
- This residence has a radiant cooling system and does NOT have forced air A/C.

Gorgeous house

Beautiful house; everything in working order. The advertised shuttle to the Ritz doesn’t start until next month and there wasn’t info on how “ski in” would actually work, but since there wasn’t enough snow to ski out either that wasn’t a big deal. FYI the Ritz service people were super hostile; made a point of how little they appreciate neighbors coming up there who aren’t staying at the hotel.

4 memorable days at Tahoe/ Truckee

The "cabin" was amazing. Its location was spot on for our event at the Ritz and for various activities during our stay. The kids loved the hot tub and the media room - we could not seem to get them away. Personally the early morning views off the cabin were the best! The clubhouse added the cool factor. Loved the pool, gym and bocce ball. The cabin was well equipped with all the required amenities. Could not have asked for anything more. We all had a great time and came away with some great memories. Thank you very much for having us!

Tahoe - Northstar - Summer visit

Overall we were pleased with the property. It’s a relatively new home perched on a mountainside very close to the Ritz-Carlton at Northstar. Very comfortable, cozy home with huge windows on the main level ( great room and Master bedroom ) facing a gorgeous view down into the valley towards Truckee. The home was very well appointed - full kitchen with everything you’d need plus comfortable beds, bathrooms, etc. The house is steps from a community amenity - the Treehouse - that I believe they undersell in the listing. The Treehouse is a clubhouse for the Mountainside community- it has a large lounge, game room, workout facility, a heated pool and hot tub. Huge plus. Overall the location was convenient for what we wanted to do - which was to have a quiet spot with great views within driving distance of activities. The house is about 15 minutes by car to both Truckee and Kings Beach. South Lake Tahoe was an hours drive. The one important caveat I would give to prospective renters is that the home has radiant heat and cooling. I have no doubt this system works extremely well in the winter time. For cooling - it’s not so great. We only had two or three hot days at the end of our visit but we couldn’t keep the ambient temperature upstairs from reaching the high 70s by mid to late afternoon. Hate to say it but I would probably shy away from this property in the dead of Summer. Otherwise, i would recommend the property highly.

The house was fantastic. Beautiful sunset views every night, good kitchen, nice tech setup. The Treehouse gym/pool just 100 yards away was a huge hit. The Playacre area a short walk away was great for kids, and it's a 15 minute walk to the Ritz to take the gondola down to the Village. Some small details (arcade system had buttons broken) were off, but on the whole the experience was great.

Outstanding Property

We have stayed at numerous properties at Northstar for the last 15+ summers. This is a new favorite! Beautiful, well appointed home with a spectacular view. Master suite shares the same amazing view and is alone on the top floor. Downstairs three additional bedrooms and a huge “bunk room” that doubles as a family room for the teens. Within walking distance is the private clubhouse with pool, pool table, work out room and lots of quiet space. Short 8 minute drive to the village and amenities. Kitchen was well outfitted for a big group. Only a handful of residences on the street makes it extremely quiet. Highly recommend.

Breathtaking View!

The view is gorgeous! The house held my family of 8 and my brother in law, sister in law and their 3 kids. We all had such a fun time!! Plenty of room and the kids brought their Xbox and loved the game room! COVID made it difficult as we couldn’t use the REC room, but we signed up for an hour of pool time which was fun. House is fun and hot tub really nice!😀

Beautiful house and view

The view from almost every room in the house is terrific. Skiing in and out on an easy Blue run was good for our group. It was much quicker to ski to the village than drive. The porch, patio, deck, hot tub and gas fire pit were also very nice.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 14 got together in this beautiful home for a reunion. We enjoyed the big kitchen, and cooked every night. Opened up the sliders to the patio and enjoyed the fresh air, and hot tubbed in the morning and evening. HD TV's in every room, so we could watch the Giants' game real time--a family favorite, and everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep in when it was time to turn in. We had everything we needed including humidifiers, towels, pots, pans, and serving dishes. Highly recommend this property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Gorgeous home where 6 adults & a 13 month old could spread out with plenty of space. Such a peaceful area & the activity center close by was great for a swim, basketball, bocce ball or a game of corn hole. Fire pit at night & spa at the home was an added treat. My main advise is if you have an infant you need to supply your own pack n play, high chair etc. The stairs were an issue with an infant & wish we had a gate to block off - later saw one in the garage as we were packing to leave! My son-in-law fished the morning we were leaving & put a lot of his fishing gear on the deck to dry out & then forgot to retrieve it. Lauren quickly got it mailed out to him (our cost of course). Emails or texts were promptly answered by Lauren. We were allowed a noon checkout since no one was arriving that day but the cleaner still showed up at 10 am. We were cleared out of the downstairs area so not a big deal. Would highly recommend this place if your budget allows for it. Very pricey but wonderful!
