"We had a fantastic stay at the Dexter for a wedding weekend. Our group unanimously declared it one of the largest and nicest homes any of us have ever rented. The kitchen is gorgeous- equipped with more than enough dishes, silverware and kitchen gadgets- often a concern in rentals. Every room was clean and coastal chic, the beds were comfy as well. It’s so rare to find a place for such a large group that still allows for privacy, space, and ample bathrooms. The “sofa” bedroom was private and included a half bath- there was so much common living space it didn’t feel like a makeshift accommodation and our friends who stayed in that room were very happy as well. The captains suite was GIGANTIC and our group had a blast getting ready for the wedding together up there. While not well advertised in the listing, the outdoor shower was a favorite feature for many. Others lamented that they wished they had more time to read cozied up on the porch and by the fire pit during down time as it was so peaceful. We honestly didn’t have a single criticism and were just wowed by every aspect of the house- tons of games, fresh flowers on the coffee table, takeout menus, Keurig cups, local tips.With a perfect location, walkable to ferry, beach, cafes and shops, a car is definitely not necessary, but it was a perk to have ample parking. Finally, Alex made all of the logistics a breeze. She was unbelievably quick to reply and generously flexible with timing. We can’t wait to come back!"

"We had the absolute BEST time in this beautiful house. Hannah is absolutely amazing and was so helpful with everything we needed. The house is stunning and so cozy. The entire group I traveled with talked about how this house is our dream house! We had 13 people and we all fit very comfortably. The outdoor shower was heavenly, and the kitchen was so much fun to hang out in and talk after a long summer of not seeing one another. The beds were extremely comfortable, too! The house is a close walk to restaurants, stores, and the water and a short drive from the airport/other popular areas. We really hope to stay again the next time we visit!"

"We enjoyed a lovely 6 days at Adam’s house. It’s spacious, convenient to town, and a well-maintained home. At one point we were a group of 8 and while we were busy exploring Martha’s Vineyard, when we got back to the house everyone had enough room to relax and get some sleep. It was a lovely base from which to enjoy the island. The air conditioning was perfect and in the evening we enjoyed working on a puzzle in the game room. Checking in was easy and Adam responded quickly to any questions. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you for a great vacation!"

"Challenging to get the lockbox to work. Found out there are two of them. They were quick to help but confusing none the less. The drive back is quite long and bumpy/muddy/dusty but we have stayed at enough places on the island to know what to expect. Could use some updating but it would expectedly be at the cost per night. We were very happy with the place. We did not use the kitchen but it seemed to be an eclectic collection of things one might need to cook or serve. We left the slider open in the bedroom. Woke up to the Osprey announcing they were awake. Very pleasant place and experience overall. Highly recommend taking the road to the end. A quiet life guarded beach with very few occupants. We watched the sunset there one night. Perfection! The house across the bay is Chip Chop and was owned by Diane Sawyer. Worth looking it up online. Final thought. We were told a 90 year old lady owns the place. It makes sense once you see it. "

"This a lovely house located in Vineyard Haven not far from the ferry and other VH treats. The house is well outfitted wit the things you will need for you stay with the second for serving as the location where we hung out the most. The deck on the second floor was a perfect place to have morning coffee or close out an evening. The property is as advertised, the only thing we would note is that the third floor was quite dusty so we did not utilize it. Overall, a great place to stay and good communication from the hosts! "
