"We traveled to Mackinac Island for a girls trip and we had an amazing stay at the Murray hotel. The staff was top tier - very friendly and extremely helpful without being pushy or "fake" about it. From the luggage service to the complimentary offerings, they were excellent. We had a 1 year old in tow and the staff made sure she felt special and helped us with keeping her milk refrigerated and ready to go whenever we came to the desk. The island itself was a great experience and the Murray hotel simply added to our trip's lovely charm. Highly recommend!"

"I gave this 5 stars because the water and dock themselves makes this place worth it but my toilet bowl was not connected to the ground so it was extremely unstable and the outside of it was covered in pee. The rooms and beds were clean but the sheets were too small and kept pulling off the corners. The sink was clogged and took 35 minutes to drain everytime. In the mornings all we heard were slamming doors and kids running and screaming so the soundproofing is not good. BUT for $90-$100 a night it’s still very good. Like I said the view and fishing was awesome. But it definitely needs some more TLC."
