"Stayed for a quick getaway and this place was perfect! It was clean and cozy with all the necessities. The lake was beautiful and there is just enough close things to do that makes the up north experience rememberable! Paul is a top noth host with some excellent recommendations for dining too. Will definitely book again for a longer stay!"

"Beautiful property that's close to everything you would want to do. They included a lot of fun outside games for the kids that they enjoyed. There are four bathrooms but the showers are very small."

"If you like nature, peace, quiet, privacy, evening bon-fires, waking up to the sound of a babbling brook and plenty of bedrooms for everyone then Gus’s Stump is for you. It’s located near Boyne City and Petosky which means lots of options for good food and fun. Great host with timely communication."

"We had a wonderful family vacation staying here! The house was comfortable, welcoming, and had everything we needed to enjoy our time together. We especially loved relaxing around the fire pit and enjoying the hot tub, it made the evenings extra special.We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches from the host, including the coffee and s’mores supplies waiting for us when we arrived. Those little extras made it easy to settle in and get our vacation started without having to worry about the small things.Overall, this was a great family vacation spot, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!"
