"Pool not working "

"The pictures are not accurate. This motel is more run down than portrayed in the photos. The air conditioner made loud and I mean loud noises throughout my stay. We did not get a good nights sleep or rest. We checked in after midnight so I was tired and didn’t have it in me to go back to the front desk and ask for another room. Also when I asked the front desk if they had a bathroom I could use in the lobby they did but it was not in service. I do not recommend this place and will not ever stay there again. "

"Staff was nice"

"Very clean everywhere. Friendly check-in. Very quiet as well for being so close to the interstate. The only thing negative was that the faucet in the tube/shower was broken and we could not shower. Staff was very friendly and very helpful when we left a bag behind. "

"Left around 9 AM, was gone for like 10 hours, came back and the maids hadn’t even touched my room. Fitted sheet was too small for the bed, so it kept coming off. “Comforter” was an old blanket sandwiched between 2 flat sheets. Both of my room keys quit working over the course of my 3 night stay. I’m not that picky, but this hotel was just as expensive as any other and it should be priced as the shabby, but super cheap option, you know?"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Whitney. The place is absolutely adorable and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, including a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and coffee maker, which made our stay very comfortable. We especially appreciated the plenty of hooks available for hanging towels—such a small detail, but it made a big difference. We did run into a minor issue during our stay, but the owner was very responsive and resolved it quickly, which we truly appreciated. The view is breathtaking, and the location is wonderfully secluded and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely stay here again! "

"Great little property on outskirts of two. Fit two couples and 3 kids perfectly. "

"We had a really great time. The back porch/view of sunsets and the trees and the hawks were fantastic. We really enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the great property and wonderful weather. I went kayaking on the lake a couple times and really enjoying paddling through the trees in the lake and enjoying the herons. I believe I even saw a pelican! We would definitely come back again. Thanks very much"
