"What a great stay. The staff were very helpful making us comfortable and even helped me get my car parked in the close by parking lot. The breakfast was excellent and I really appreciated they could speak English and was full of tips to make our stay great. They really take pride in there b&b."

"My husband and I spent five wonderful days at Il Giardino del Rio and enjoyed every moment. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for short walks through Castel di Sangro, or for drives through the gorgeous Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo and its scenic towns. The best thing about the inn, however? Proprietors Davide and Enzo, and Adnan. Each one made us feel like family. We already miss them!"

"La stanza era indubbiamente carina, ma l'unico punto luce sul comodino aveva la lampadina fulminata, la televisione non riceveva alcun canale, il radiatore a parte emetteva continuo rumori dovuti vorse alla sua dolatazione, in bagno c'era sin dall'arrivo un persistente odore sgradevole divuto sicuramente a reflusso di miasmi della fogna. Poi, per il borgo in cui si trova La strutture, il prezzo pagato è veramente eccessivo. Colazione banale, al bar."

The personal at the restaurant were very unpleasant, either at Donner as at breakfast. If You don't like tourist, DONT HAVE A HOTEL."

"They are the quintessential hostess and host.
They pay attention to every detail throughout your stay. He not only prepares the most delicious and extensive breakfast imaginable, but he is also a concierge extraordinaire, with an extensive knowledge of everything to do within Abruzzo. He booked dinner reservations and made excellent recommendations on interesting things to do. She is an elegant hostess, that truly reminded us of Audrey Hepburn; warm and attentive to our every need, she made sure we had fresh towels and a tidy room every day. The sheets and bedding were exquisite. God willing, we will get to spend a few nights at the Casa Isabella again someday. "
