A nice, fairly secluded place to relax and rejuvenate. The location was great! One of the most well stocked VRBOs that we have been to and loved the fact we could vacation with our pups! We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. One recommendation is to bring water for coffee and consumption, which isn’t that big of deal. The well water is a little cloudy.

Beautiful setting

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage. Great view of lake. Our dogs loved their quiet walks. Very convenient to town. Would recommend to anyone.

Great stay at Lakeview

Beautiful, peaceful setting close enough to all the Hocking Hills adventures. Well stocked kitchen, dog friendly and just a perfect peaceful place to come back to after hiking and outdoor fun. The hot tub was perfect way to end our days.

John was an excellent host. Very accommodating and responsive with any questions or concerns. The house was quiet and clean with a nice view of a pond from the front of the home and hot tub. We were able to grill out on the charcoal grill and have bonfires with s'mores.

Beautiful House

Beautiful house with amazing views!! We loved the hot tub and big spacious rooms. Highly recommend, had everything we needed for our hiking weekend at hocking hills.

Everything about this stay was wonderful. The area was so peacefull and serene. Just what we needed. Everything was clean and fresh. The ONLY thing I wish I knew is there is not a water softener. The hard water is not long hair friendly. :( Nothing a Malibu treatment cant fix!All in all, I would certainly stay again.

Spring getaway

The home was a great location with great views and the magical stream running under the house was a great treat. Hearing the sounds of the stream in the house was very soothing. The home was very clean with all the amenities. Would look to come again and share with others.

Beautiful Cottage

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Lakeview Cottage. The cottage was very clean and had all the amenities needed for a great stay! We loved the hot tub. Only downside was the excessive amount of “No Trespassing” signs all around the property. It took away from the peaceful setting and privacy.

Very clean place and easy check in. Unfortunately, we came during a drought so the stream didn't have much water in it but I can see where it would be nice when it does. It was beautiful with the changing leaves and the reflection off the lake. Had a minor issue that the host couldn't have necessarily known, but it was resolved quickly, while we were out hiking. So very responsive to the issue that did come up.
