Beautiful View of the Lake
A lovely home with plenty of whatever we needed for a few fun days with family. I loved seeing the sun come up in the morning and watching the fog rise off the lake.

Great lake access
We had a great stay at the lake. The view is stunning from the house as there's no residences across the lake to see so it's just wild and beautiful. The rocks were really fun for the children to climb on and we loved the screened in porch to eat at. We brought our own pontoon boat and it really opened up all the water fun we could've wanted. House was clean and spacious.

Amazing lakefront property
This is our fourth year renting this property. We all agreed it felt like coming home. There is plenty of space for everyone to be together or have some quiet time alone. The terrain from the house to the lake is uneven and may be difficult for the less sure-footed guest but it also keeps the natural quality of the lakefront. We love this property!

Annual Family Lake Trip
Perfect setup for a family vacation on the lake! Our 2nd year in a row! The location on the lake, the private dock with a nice umbrella, the lawn area, and screened-in porch make outdoor living ideal for a family. The house is clean, comfortable, and spacious. Parts of the house have been updated and are nice, while some things in the house are a bit worn. It is very well stocked and is just as described. We highly recommend it!

Favorite place to stay on the lake
This is our 4th time staying in this home. Our 5th time will be later this month. The property has everything you could ask for in a lakehouse. The owners and property managers are very responsive, and answer any and all questions asked every time. The grill was recently replaced. I believe we were the first to use it. Thank you owners for the new grill! It worked perfectly. Couldn't ask for a better relationship between ownership and renters. We will be back soon and cannot wait!!!

Thanksgiving Weekend
Our family thoroughly enjoyed comfy beds, a fire pit, football, food, beautiful scenery, fun games and a great layout. The kids really loved climbing around the rocks and exploring.

Family Get Together
We had a group of 8 adults for a family get together. The house was perfect for us; the right amount of bedrooms and the family room was great for us. We play a lot of games/cards so we had plenty of room. We were very pleased with the accommodations. Thank you!

Sometimes you just gotta get away.
We all enjoyed our stay. Inside of house was clean and lots of space. Enjoyed the hot tub. Was able to swim on the boat ramp. The dock was not that hard to get down to and back up. I would of give cleanliness a 5 star but the outside needs to be pressure washed and the gas grill needs to be replaced. And the broken outdoor furniture needs to be removed. Overall we had a good time and lots of laughs will keep this location in mind for the next time.

Best location on the lake
Great spot for great views and fairly easy access to the lake. It's a gradual slope with some rocks that you have to navigate up and down...might be a little difficult with small children. Would be better with stairs to the dock, but overall a great place for a large family to gather. Plenty of space inside and out.

Relaxing Time
Had a great time relaxing by the lake, enjoying the fire pit, and meeting your neighbor's cat...who we called Kevin. He came out to enjoy the fire with us both nights :) We also loved the proximity to the Bourbon Trail distilleries. If you choose to sign up for a tour at one...Make your reservations at least a month in advance.

Driving conditions
The property was great and very roomy. The beds are comfortable and there is a lot of room to spread out. Lots of dishes, but if you're looking for "matched sets", there really aren't any. Plenty of them to meet our needs, though. One thing I would caution people about is the width of the roads going in. For the last three miles to the location, the road is very narrow (less than 2 car widths), with quite a number of blind spots. It is necessary for cars to pull to the side (depending on who has the most room and best opportunity to pull over) so the other car can pass. For about the last one-quarter mile or so, the road narrows to the width of a single-lane road. I would suggest that people not make this drive for the first time at night. Familiarity of the road is a definite plus before you drive it at night ... and even then, it's a little bit of a tense trip. Other than that, this is a great location, and it was very clean when we arrived. It had all the necessary amenities. It also had MANY more towels than I am used to in a rental property. There were more than plenty to take care of our needs (along with quite a number of "beach" towels). Overall a wonderful stay.

Great family getaway
We found this place to be perfect for our family reunion. The house was spacious with lots of room to spread out and have fun. Loved the hot tub and fires at night and we rarely left the water during the hot, humid days we were there. Rented a pontoon twice which made the trip even better.

You have done a great job with your property. The levels, the rooms and the decks (hot tub), etc... left plenty of room for privacy, multiple living spaces, etc... thank you so very much. Lovely large lakeside retreat
We are a large family who were gathering from across the States to attend a wedding celebration. Circumstances required us to add an additional week to our stay and luckily the property was available. The home was comfortable for a large group to spread out! Had the weather been warmer we would have enjoyed the lake more fully but having it for our view was wonderful. We did enjoy the hot tub and a bon fire and completed many of the puzzles. Truly appreciative of the comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. We would recommend!

We had a great time, plenty of room for our group of 14. Had a corn hole tournament, rented a boat, relaxed in hot tub. Ice was a problem but owners are getting ice cube trays in case of emergency for next renters. Would rent from these owners again they were very available if you needed them. Sally n John

This place has lots of nice "little extras" that set it apart from other properties we visited. It was clean and had plenty of space for everyone. We really liked this house! The only thing keeping this from being a perfect trip was having trees block the private boat ramp which kept us from fishing from our boat. The next nearest available ramp was about a 20 minute drive, so that was a bummer. We would've saved some time and money had we known about the ramp ahead of time. Everything else was great!

Sisters, nieces and cousins - GIRLS WEEKEND/BABY SHOWER
We all traveled from different parts of the country to meet up and host a baby shower for one of our nieces. The house was absolutely beautiful and was, by far, the CLEANEST rental I have ever stayed in. The house was well stocked with anything you could need and there was lots of room to spread out for our party of 11. We had an issue with the oven, which was out of the owner's control, but the owner was VERY quick to resolve the issue and had a new one delivered ASAP. Thank you Alissa for your great customer service and for sharing this beautiful home with us. It worked out perfectly! We would definitely like to come back to enjoy the lake and surrounding area in the future!

Great Family Get-Away
Perfect lake place. Lots for the kids and adults to do. Fishing! Rock hunting! Kayaking! Hot tubbing! Sleeping arrangements were perfect for our 3 families. The 2 sets of Bunks with trundle and the spare air mattress slept the 6 kids perfectly. Nearby parks and Old Fort Harrod made for exciting excursions for us to explore. We will be returning....maybe in the Summer next time. Fun was had by all!

Blue Heron Point offers the perfect lakeside experience!
The home is large enough for multiple families with a lot of room to move about. The private boat ramp and dock are close to the house and easily accessible. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking for a crowd and lots of seating for meals and games together. The rental process was seamless and all questions were answered by the property manager. It was a wonderful family vacation that we hope to make an annual event!

Very nice lake house vacation spot
Very nicely kept and loved property. Plenty of room In the house and super nice to have lake access without tons of steps. We had no trouble navigating the path down to the dock. The dock itself was great; we rented a pontoon several days and enjoyed fishing and swimming. The teenagers had a blast boating and swimming. We ate in all week and had a fabulous family vacation here plus were able to see our parents who live nearby in Danville. Favorites: the pillows, the screened in porch, the hot tub, fishing from the dock, ease of access, everyone had a bed, and close to marinas.

wide open space, relaxing at the lake!
This is a great house for large parties! We had 10 people, with a few day visitors, and never felt like we were crowding each other. Very open inside multiple entry/exit doors. We really appreciated the screened in porch and hot tub!! The boat dock is very close to the house and an easy hike (few rocks, but not bad!). One watch out - this is not in a no-wake zone and you do get a lot of boat traffic, which can rock the dock depending on boat size and how close they get. All in all, a great mini-vacation!!

COVID getaway
This was our second time at this property. The setting on the lake is fabulous. The house is clean and provides plenty of room for a large group to move around. This was a great way to get out of the house and provide something for the kids to do for a few days. I suggest renting the double decker pontoon from Pandora Marina.

Great place!
We drove from MIssissippi and met friends from Michigan. There were 12 of us. We had plenty of room to spread out despite less than perfect weather conditions. The house does sit on a fairly high bluff on the lake so getting to the dock requires one to be steady on there feet. My mom who is 77 and a bit feeble couldn’t go down. Everyone else was fine to use the rocks and even “rock climb” around the bend in the lake. We enjoyed stay and would go again in warmer weather to enjoy the lake more.

Weekend lake trip
Home was even better in person, with a great view! Very clean, too! The open floor plan was great for our large family and the kids had a blast. Loved the screened in porch and ease of getting on the water, as well. We definitely plan on renting again.
