Peaceful, beautiful and comfortable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Villa Kelapa. We were looking for a few days of mainly relaxation, and this place was perfect for that. Nice, peaceful surroundings amongst rice fields with gorgeous sunsets and good, friendly, easy-going service. Shout out to Fauzi for taking good care of us. Our villa (Batu, I think) was clean and spacious, very comfortable and our daughter appreciated having her own room. Good aircon and hot water. We had a kitchen too with a stovetop and basic cooking utensils. Especially loved the outdoor area with dining table, hammock and pull down shades. So nice! We weren’t in Langkawi to do a lot of activities, so the location wasn’t a problem for us. We went out one night for dinner and took a day-trip to Pulau Payar, and relaxed at the villa the rest of our time. Nice pool. They recommend having your own transportation, but we managed fine by taking Grab rides and ordering Grab food. You might need to plan a bit and schedule Grab rides ahead of time from the villa so you don’t have to wait a long time. Would highly recommend for peaceful, quiet relaxation and comfortable, beautiful environment.

Wir hatten 6 wunderbare Nächte in diesem Idyll. Unser Holzhaus war super schön mit einer riesigen Terrasse, einer Küche mit allem was man benötigt (sogar einen Toaster und kleine Messer, die in Malaysien nicht immer so üblich sind) und sehr bequemen Betten. Der Ausblick auf die Reisfelder ist toll und man hört und sieht die Vögel, auch die Affen und Eichhörnchen von der Terrasse aus. Der Pool ist super. Und die Gastgeber wahnsinnig nett und hilfsbereit. Wir können diese wunderbare Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Ein Auto ist hilfreich.

Such a beautiful, reconditioned traditional Malay house set amidst rolling padi fields. The owner, Michaela, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and went out of her way to meet all our needs. She also makes the most delicious home-made sour dough bread!
