Stayed Self-Catering to escape UK cold. A superb apartment in a quiet complex, well provisioned and very clean with everything required for self-catering. I personally found the bed/mattress really comfortable. Amazing balcony view and sun all day is wonderful. Wifi and TV... Excellent; over 1200 Video Club movies available. I'm not pool user/lounger but it looked great and saw many using it. Supermarket is right next door and Restaurants/Cafe's, Bars, Shops and plenty of Live Music entertainment is only 5 minutes walk down on seafront strip. Communication and help from Host Pascal and his assistants Rachel and Vinka was fantastic; from booking last February, on arrival and during stay, right through to leaving was terrific. Quite a few steps up to apartment but I'm 70 and managed and wouldn't let it stop me staying again. Although Rachel did help with my heavy case up final flight of steps on arrival. Vinka set up sofa bed for my friends 5 day stay over New Year.... so grateful to both. Best apartment I've stayed in from 3 visits to PDC. Highly recommended. Ican also recommend, Bogart's Bar (friendly chatty place) (100 metres down road). Tequila Bar 400 metres along strip to right and Electric Island Cellar bar (Old Town) both for great live rock bands. I hope to stay again sometime in future.

A lot more steps than I expected hard work with a pushchair give the wrong number for contact couch
Small few faults ,Needs new matterss on couch bed, also needs new shower door one on right got stuck also needs new shower head and hose hot water comes and goes other wise I would stay there again no problem all problems are fixable we must apologise we didn't have time to take our rubbish out on the last day as flight was early over all all good sun all day from balcony great views

Amazing views
The property is ideal for a holiday for a couple. Very clean and tidy. The view is its best feature, its only downside ,to get the view there are an awful lot of steps. The only other problem was that there were no sunloungers around the poo We were told due to covid, but other apartment did have loungers around the pool ,

Little gem
This was my second time at pascals lovely little apartment and I must say it was an absolute pleasure. I stayed 28 days and enjoyed every minute. Everything required for your stay is supplied, kettle,toaster,microwave,2 ring cooker,lots of pans,cutlery,glasses etc, there’s even a washing machine,and extra towels, bedding etc. On top of all that,there’s a beautiful sea view from the south facing balcony that gets the sun all day! Situated in a quiet area and no hills to climb although there are a few steps up to the complex, I’m 72 and had no problem with them, it’s only a few minutes walk down to the strip with all the bars and restaurants, thank you pascal and vinka for a great stay,I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone,and look forward to booking again. 5 stars from me!

Just returned from 11 nights in this lovely apartment. Balcony faces East, so catches the sun all day long. View out to sea is fantastic. TV has hundreds of English channels. Wifi was great for the full duration of our stay. Beds were dead comfy, and plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobe. Pool area was clean with free use of sun loungers. Spar supermarket less than 2mins walk away, which is well stocked. 5min walk down to the strip / beach. Really lovely apartment, will definitely return. Thanks Pascal and Vinka.

Basic Base for short break
Basic accommodation. Ideal for just a week. No Wi-Fi.. even though description stated internet connection. Beds comfy, very nice view. Sofa standard (futon) not comfy when you've got a bad back. Overall..ok for the two of us. Agent very good.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We would definitely return.
Vinka met us at the airport and within 15 minutes we were in the apartment - what a great service! The Atalaya complex is lovely, it's in a quiet part of town but very central. It felt very safe for two ladies on their own, the pool was lovely and there were always lots of spare sunbeds. The apartment had little extras like a cool bag, lilos, herbs, spices & olive oil, a safe etc. The nearest supermarket is just outside the gate to the complex and there are plenty of other shops nearby. We recommend the car hire at the complex, we hired a 5 door Renault Clio for 30 euros for a day and toured the north of the island. The famous caves are really good.

Best Holiday Yet... 19.09.17 to 03.10.17
We stayed in Pascal's apartment for two weeks in September. The apartment is very well equipped and very clean, with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The complex is really quiet, just perfect for a relaxing time away. The views from the balcony are stunning, just like it shows in the photo. The apartment is a 5 minute walk to the sea and a 1 minute walk to the nearest supermarket. We enjoy our walking and the apartment is situated in the perfect place for us to take off in any direction and end up on an adventure somewhere. We met Pascal on the day of our departure, he was very pleasant and he seems like a lovely guy. He also kept in touch with us throughout the 2 weeks of our holiday making sure we had everything we needed. Vinka, who looks after the apartment is very kind and is always on hand to help. She picks us up and takes us back to the airport which means you're not waiting ages for a taxi. We are just about to book another week at this apartment for next March and can't wait for our stay there again. Teresa & Stu...

Perfect
We stayed in the Pascal apartment for two weeks in August, the apartment is perfectly well equipped and clean, the residence is a very quiet place very close to the sea and a step away from the supermarket well stocked right out of the residence. Vinka is kind and always ready to help. We would go back next year but with great sadness we saw that during our holiday days the apartment is already reserved. Such a pity. We recommend to everyone Pascal's apartment because it is as we see from the photos and how it is described. Karin

Perfect is an understatement
I'm never sure about self catering as you can get basic equipment and very few amenities but this apartment has it all. All the standard facilities plus iron, washer, fan, hairdryer, and little touches like candles and books made our stay ever more enjoyable. The views were perfect and the pictures don't do it justice. The pool in the complex is simple and just what is required to cool down. If I hand any gripes it would be the mattresses but you can't have it all. Thanks pascal. Little hint, get Venka to pick you up and use her local knowledge for local restaurants, we had some amazing meals on here advise.

App needs a little bit of care couch needs cleaning everything else is good it's well equipped ,owner Pascal Polo is very easy to communicate with and very helpful Vinka who looks after the app met us at the airport she showed us around the app and was very helpful also there are some steps to get down to the pool if you don't have walking difficulties you won't have a problem ,no wifi ,lots of tv channels ,lovely sea view from balcony which gets the sun all day we had a lovely stay there

Really good location, only five minutes to the strip,very quite, apartment well cared for
Collected from the airport by Vinka who manages the property on behalf of her client, shown around the apartment how everything works, which was really useful. The apartment has a balcony with a sea view and gets the sun for the majority of the day, " a good place to chill". The apartment has it's own washer, ironing board and iron, which means you don't have to pack loads. I stayed for four weeks and only used half the stuff I took. There are plenty of towels, including beach towels, which are all of good quality ( not the paper thin ones you can get in some places). The only downside for some people might be that there are a lot of steps up to the property but they are in flights of about six mostly and not steep, I am 69 and managed them easily a few times each day. The property was clean and well maintained and contact with the owner was efficient and very helpful. I booked with HomeAway and everything worked smoothly. Overall a really enjoyable holiday.

The Apartment is in a good location but was a little disappointed that there was no internet as when I booked in March was told that the apartment was in the process of having broadband sorted we arrived on 27th December. The apartment is clean and tidy but tired and requires updating, The view from the terrace has a lovely sea view

Great apartment lovely sunny balcony.
Well equipped comfortable apartment. Only issue was the water was often not warm enough for even a cool shower and no means of boosting temperature. Nice pool but the steps into water not easy to negotiate . Apart from some rain etc we had a great time. This was our 4th trip to Lanzarote and 3rd visit to Puerto del Carmen we will be back.

Tolle Ferienwohnung
Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in Pascals ruhiger und sehr sauberer Wohnung verbracht. Der Ausblick ist mindestens so toll wie auf dem Foto und die Lage der Wohnung sehr nahe an der Promenade. In der Küche finden sich einige Grundnahrungsmittel und auch jede Menge Strandtücher werden zur Verfügung gestellt. Sehr gerne möchten wir wieder einmal einen Urlaub dort verbringen!

Perfect location
The location is perfect, so is the view from the balcony. Also the bed is great. However, it is clearly an older appartement and complex. A few things can be done. If you don’t mind to clean yourself and accept an older bathroom, this is the place for you.

En general esta bien para pasar una semana ,para mas tiempo no resulta cómodo . Ideal para 2 personas , para 4 no. Había algunos desperfectos que estaban en fase de reparación ,por ejemplo la mampara de ducha.

Séjour parfait
Appartement dans une résidence très calme à 2-3 minutes à pied de la plage et des restaurants - bars. L'appartement est tout équipé et très bien agencé. La terrasse est au soleil toute la journée. Supermarché SPAR à 20mètres de la résidence ouvert de 8h à 22h, très pratique! Possibilité de se garer à proximité de la résidence. Plus compliqué après 19h00 mais des places sont disponibles quelques rues plus loin. Une superbe île avec un temps magnifique. Je recommande !

Vacaciones en Puerto Carmen
Apartamento muy bien situado, zona muy tranquila, con un supermercado abajo. Muy cómodo. El apartamento muy limpio, con lo necesario para descansar unos días, una terraza con unas vistas muy buenas y con mucha intimidad, da el sol todo el día. La Urbanizacion es muy tranquila, no se oye nada de ruidos, se descansa muy bien. Repetimos ya varios años, nos encanta Puerto Carmen, puedes dar unos paseos preciosos, y si quieres visitar la Isla, tienes autobuses o alquilas un coche, mucho más cómodo para desplazarte, este año impresionante , fue el año que más verde la encontré. Muchas gracias a Mr. Paul y a Vinka que es un encanto de mujer. Te ayuda y te informa de todo lo que quieras saber. Volveremos

Tutto perfetto!!
Tutto perfetto, Casa in zona comodissima, sia per visitare Puerto del Carmen, (200 mt dal lungomare) sia per visitare il resto dell'isola (comoda per raggiungere le strade di collegamento). Casa carinissima, completa di tutto ciò che serve, pulitissima e ordinata, ideale per due persone. Consigliatissima.

Appartamento pulito e dotato di tutti i confort e bella vista sul mare. Ottima posizione per le spiagge e per i ristoranti. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Il proprietario Pascal Polo ha fornito una buona assistenza rispondendo alle nostre richieste in modo chiaro e solerte. Siamo stati bene. Consiglierei sicuramente questo appartamento a un amico. Appartement très agréable et fonctionnel
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans l'appartement qui est très bien situé avec une belle vue sur la mer. Tout est conforme à l'annonce faite par le propriétaire M. Polo qui est très attentif au bien être de ses locataires. Rien à redire et nous espérons encore revenir dans cette location.

Appartement très bien situé, propre et ne manquant de rien sauf...le wifi gratuit qui était stipulé sur l annonce, sans préciser que c était a l accueil uniquement !( Une cinquantaine de marche et 150 m)Donc comptant travailler également cela n a pas été possible. Tv uniquement en espagnol. Depuis Mr polo a modifié l annonce ce qui est plus correct. Merci de cette modif pour les autres locataires. En conclusion si vous ne faites pas partis des gens "connectés" c est un bon choix a tout point de vue, propreté, environnement, équipement, sinon choisissez un autre logement.

Tout d'abord désolé pour le désagrément que cela vous a causé mais cependant une mise au point me semble nécessaire. En effet vous m'aviez appelé avant de réserver l'appartement pour me demander si le wifi était disponible (pourquoi me le demander si comme vous le prétendez cela était indiqué dans l'annonce ?) Ce a quoi je vous ai répondu comme a toutes les personnes qui me le demandent que l'on pouvait parfois se connecter depuis l'appartement, mais de facon certaine depuis l'accueil de la résidence près de la piscine. Je mets cela sur le compte d'une incompréhension ou bien une confusion avec une autre location que vous auriez consulté, mais cela ne remet bien sur en aucun cas en cause votre correction..... Tout comme la mienne, les appréciations que j'ai obtenu l'attestent je pense. Pour que ce genre de problèmes ne se reproduisent pas, je vais faire installer le wifi durant cette année.
