Great Place for a Winter Break
It was everything we hoped it would be. Great weather, great location, lovely pool, comfy bed and practical kitchen. Carroll and Peter were lovely hosts; nothing was too much trouble. A brilliant rural retreat away from the holiday crowds. We look forward to returning.😊

On arrival it was pitch black, uneven surfaces, lots of stairs, with two children this was not ideal. Put my torch on my phone and there were cockroaches everywhere outside near the pool. We finally found where we were staying. It was not the luxury apartment as described. It is an outdated health hazard. There is no aircon just a couple of ceiling fans, one of which looks and sounds like it is going to fall off the ceiling on to the bed, very stuffy apartment. I mentioned this but were given no aircon device to help with the situation. There is a broken bit of plastic sticking from the bathroom wall which is a hazard. I used the microwave and it burst into smoke everywhere . The last message I sent the owners I had no reply no apology no offer of a refund. I would avaoid this place. We cut our stay short and found somewhere that actually matched the description. Also worthy of a note, I don’t know what chlorine they use but all of us had a reaction to it and it made us all very itchy, my daughter suffered worse and came out in a rash all over. They also have cameras everywhere pointing at guest areas, very weird and made us feel uncomfortable. There is probably more to add but honestly I don’t want to remember anymore of this awful place!

A super location with easy access by car to any of the islands lovely beaches and attractions. We ate several times at Casa Morelino which had a delicious menu and friendly staff. Visiting Timanfaya and the Sunday market at Teguise are highly recommended. Having our own pool was lovely and any questions we had were quickly answered by Peter. He also very kindly let us stay later than 11.00 a.m. on our departure day which was much appreciated as our flight was in the evening. Overall a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in a peaceful and interesting place. Thanks Peter.

What an amazing place to stay, the views from pool side are absolutely stunning. The apartment is situated behind the main house and was spotlessly clean and all ready for our arrival. Having the sole use of the private pool and hot tub was perfect. We would absolutely recommend this apartment.

Beautiful view, amazing facilities
We loved our stay in this gorgeous apartment. The photos really don’t do it justice, the inside of the apartment is clean and surprisingly modern, and the real star was the outside. The private pool with jacuzzi was amazing, with spectacular views, we enjoyed it every night and had a wonderful couples holiday here. Would return happily.

Amazing stay
What a truly wonderful find for our family holiday. On arrival all we were astounded by the panoramic view. All was ready for our arrival, clean and fresh including the little bed for our baby. The essentials that we had ordered in advance were waiting for us, the Jacuzzi was lovely and warm as was the pool which is a bonus when you have a young child. All this was just for our use, no other holidays makers, no fighting for sunbeds. Supper in our private attached summer house with the pool and patio lights on, at the press of a button the pool electronically opens and you are looking across the countryside to the sea and surrounding beauty, after a long day sightseeing it was just sublime. As for the apartment, it is detached, terraced into the mountainside with views across the roofs of the houses lower down the hillside to the sea, it is well furnished, spacious and spotlessly clean. The kitchen has everything you need, including a large enough fridge freezer, which for us is a must. The English television system kept the kids amused whilst we were able to relax, they could not wander off without passing us sitting around the pool. The sweep fans in the bed rooms were a must for the hot evenings, the beds were both comfortable and modern. The whole apartment was of a good size. Being able to park the car off road, beside the pool was a bonus when we had shopping or luggage to carry. We would not hesitate to book this apartment again.

Great place to relax
What a brilliant host. Nothing was too much trouble. We loved having a huge heated pool all to ourselves plus free use of the hot tub. The villa is built into the side of the mountain and the temperature inside stays the same regardless what it’s doing outside. Villa has all conveniences you could need. Gas hob, electric oven and a microwave. Local store has all basics but you will be advised to pick up the things you consider essentials before you arrive or expect a short drive to find a larger shop. The local beach towns are hosts to surfer and other water sport enthusiast so you will find beach food and tapas easily. We will probably be back again when we want to unwind and get away from it all. Thanks Peter, we had a great stay. Ron & Liz

Beautiful, relaxing place
We have stayed here before and keep coming back. The apartment is the top storey of a converted outbuilding behind the owner's property. Very secluded, peaceful and quiet. The view from the windows is out over the roof of the main house, stretching for miles across the lava fields, with small volcanos and the sea in view. Very handy for the whole west coast, with surfing at Famara beach, and the volcano park close by. The location is central, so that all the main attractions are easily reached by car. The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean, and comfortable, with extra blankets and towels if you need them. Big fridge, with medium freezer, good oven, microwave and stove and all the equipment you need for cooking. Best of all, the pool is heated and so lovely to swim in, with the view in front of you. We have been there in January as well, other years, and the pool is still great, even though the wind outside can be chilly. There is a warm sunroom at the end of the pool, with comfy chairs, a lovely place to sit and read in if it is not too warm, or the wind is strong. There is a local shop on the main road, about 5 minutes walk down, and larger supermarkets a few miles away. Plenty of restaurants, although most are 10 minutes drive or so away. Peter, the host, is very welcoming and extremely helpful but also respects your privacy and leaves you alone unless you want anything. We loved every minute of our stay and can't wait to go back.

Just one week...
We really enjoied our stay: heated pool, super warm whirpool (we used every day after our trips), so romantic... Kids were excited by wonderful deep pool and terace with amazing view. Advices to "budget travels": there are a wasching machine, fully eqiupped kitchen, enough towels. In the village you can find: 2 small supermarkets, 2 local pubs, and bus stop. To sum up, we recommend this place to all parents who want to combine "family holiday" with "second honeymoon":))

What A Find
This detached apartment terraced into the hillside was everything you could have asked for, spacious, clean and well equipped. The views across the countryside down to the sea are spectacular. The children just fell in love with the hot tub, heated pool and for us the electric cover for added security was a bonus. Everything was for our exclusive use. No sharing, no towels on sun beds etc, the barbecue and quaint little summer house where we were able to observe the children whilst having a quiet drink in the evening and enjoying the amazing views was an asset. The children had everything they needed so we hardly left the apartment. Although Peter went out of his way not to intrude on our privacy, he was always available to answer questions and help if needed. He was a good source of local information and advice on local customs. The village is a typical Canarian village, centrally located with easy access to all the tourist attractions on the island and perfect for the independent travellers. In all a perfect location for a splendid holiday and we look forward to returning.

The apartment is up a flight of stairs from the front door. The main room is a Kitchen Lounge and Dining room, with bathroom and 2 bedrooms. The size of the main room is far more than I ever expected from a rental property approx 20 x 30 ft at its max points. The view from the window looks down towards Club La Santa which is approx 4 miles away but he sea views are far reaching - in fact wether you are lounging, in the hot tub or in the swimming pool the views of the sea are there. The entire space around the owners house is yours - pool hot tub, table and chairs for 8 , BBQ Loungers, chairs on the perimeter to admire the view and the owners blinds are always closed to give you the maximum privacy. I asked Peter if they ever used the pool and his response was - only when we don't have guests, we like our guests to enjoy the surroundings in private. The village is small and the apartment is perched towards the top of the village in a secluded location with stunning views in all directions - a car is advisable and any part of the island can be reached within 40 mins. There is a washing machine for guests use so no need to line the airlines pockets with their extortionate baggage fees. The kitchen has everything you need to make it a home from home including a freezer to enable less trips to the shops, although there is a very well stocked local shop within 300m. Peter and Carroll have lived on the Island for many years so they can advise you all things Lanzarote from attractions to healthcare. We stayed for 3 weeks and enjoyed every minute - we will book 4 weeks next year! Thanks you for a wonderful and relaxing holiday.

Just what we needed
This place is a superb holiday stay. We came in October to get away from busy life in London and to get some sunshine. The apartment is located in quiet area, just 20 minutes drive from the airport. Peter was very welcoming and we felt like home once lodged. The amenities, swimming pool and the OMG hot tub were just perfect. Peter was always on hand , to resolve any queries and we loved his wicked sense of humour. It's a convenient location with loads of local amenities just a short drive away. Thank you guys for a lovely stay. Highly recommend. :)

Perfect in everyway
Perfect What can I say!!!! Perfect in every way…. Small little village and very quiet, just what was needed. Famara the next village is also very nice and you can even have surfing lessons (which my daughter couldn’t wait to do). The apartment itself is just lovely, has decent size pool and also a hot tub, the pool was always warm and cleaned regularly….peter and Carroll are very lovely people and will make time to talk to u if they see you, Peter greeted us upon arrival and he was always at hand to help if we need anything or there was any problems….. very happy with our 2 week stay. Thanks for a great holiday. Highly recommend trying here

Lovely outdoor area
We enjoyed our stay at this apartment located in the little, quiet village Soo. The best advantage of this apartment was a beautiful outside area with good size hot tube and an amazing swimming pool, where water was always clean and warm. It was lovely to drink coffee every morning and enjoy these beautiful views from the terrace. Peter and Caroll wehere always there if you need any help or advice.

Lanzarote winter break
We just stayed here for a week and found it a very quiet spot. The accomodations on site were excellent and Peter was great being onsite for any issues. Soo is a little village and doesn't suffer from tourists that much. The pool and the hot tub were fantastic and I would recommend this for a quiet break. Thanks for sharing your property with us Peter and wife. Hope her leg is getting better.

Lovely pool
The pool is heated to 28 degrees all the time, which you need in January. The wind is cold up at the house but when the sun is shining it is lovely. The sun room was a lifesaver on our last day when it was clouded over and quite cold. Famara is very close and great for surfing. Good restaurants in la Santa and Tigua, both ten mins away. (Best one on way out of Tugua to the east, on the right, just at the 70kph sign. No name. ). Great stay at Peter’s place - very comfortable.

Fantastic family break
We had a fantastic 10 day stay. Brilliant communication, car easy to drive, great pool and hot tub and stress free pick up and drop off for the airport at silly o clock in the morning! Would highly recommend and a 20 min car journey to most places. We covered the whole island pretty much in about 6 days and went to lots of fabulous beaches. Paragua is the best and so beautiful. Famara is great for surf and pier jumping! Excellent stay and couldn't have wished for a better holiday. Thanks to Chris and Maria for all their help.

5 Star from start to end
From the initial enquiry emails to Peter, to the arrival and departure, I cannot fault this family business and their accommodation and can not praise their help and support enough. Due to unforeseen circumstances with a local power cut, we were moved to an alternative villa. Peter informed us two days before travelling and was exceptional in his care and concern that we were happy with the move. As we were arriving on a Sunday evening and the surrounding shops were closed, he even asked me for a shopping list of some essentials which he duly bought. Upon arrival at the airport, Mia very kindly met us and took us to the villa where we found a fridge full of the shopping, already done for us. Mia was wonderful, friendly and told us all about local attractions and points of interest during the short drive to the villa. Chris assisted us throughout the trip and honestly, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I simply cant thank you all for your support during my families first family holiday in a very long time. If your thinking of booking through this family business, do it, they are wonderful and provide a home from home ( with the addition of better weather and a fabulous swimming pool! ;) Thank you again and I hope to return one day...

Great for getting away from it all.....but within easy reach of everything you want to see and do.
We had never been to Lanzarote before and were not sure where to stay. We chose this property primarily based on location but also because we could be picked up from the airport and hire a car via the owners. We could not have chosen better. On the short journey from the airport to the apartment we picked up a few tips on where to eat and a little bit about the area from Chris who picked us up in the car we would use during our stay. The apartment is away from the ‘Brits Abroad’ resorts and gave us the more traditional location we were looking for with the benefit of a great network of roads taking you to any part of the island within about 40 mins. The apartment itself had everything we needed for a self catering holiday with the benefit of a pool and hot tub which the owners reserve solely for guests. We utilised the summer house early mornings and evenings when the temperatures were lower. Carol and Peter live onsite but the apartment is totally separate and they were unobtrusive but available for advice when needed. We had a fantastic time and are already planning another visit.

Apartment with Great pool and fantastic Views
Just returned home from fab week in Soo. Our apartment although not luxury was absolutely lovely We wanted to be away from the crowds and that is exactly what we got .All equipment required for cooking was there for you. Carroll recommended supermarkets to food shop which was very helpful and she even gave us her bags to save us buying some. The apartment is not right at the pool but just around the corner but was not a problem at all. The views from the pool area were fantastic overlooking the village and surrounding area. The pool area was great perhaps a bit tired needed a bit of of updating but i am not complaining. The pool although beautiful was a bit deep for me just off the step and the water was almost over my head and the deep end was 10 ".was a bit nervous as I hadn't swam for 2 years but that's my problem .Washing machine outside a bit rusty but that to be expected clean inside and they worked fine. . We hired a car off Peter an older automatic model but got us from a to b and was a good wee runner and we did some miles around the whole island. Carroll and Peter very kindly let us park within the grounds as I have a new knee replacement and my hubby has had 2 new hips.. Chris picked us up and ran us back to the airport. We were lucky nobody was due to arrive the day we left so payed I think it was £35 for an extra day which was brilliant as our flight was not until 8.50pm Peter and Carroll live on site but leave you to your devices, if you need them they are there no probs. Fabulous outdoor space in a quiet, traditional Canarian apartment and village.
We have just returned from a fabulous 9 day stay in Soo, Lanzarote. Before heading off and booking our apartment we read the reviews so realised that the apartment was tucked around the corner, had steps and was maybe not "luxury", so knew what to expect. I think some of the reviews on here are very unfair and show a lack of research and enquiry from those who have stayed. Our primary reason for booking this apartment was because we wanted a fabulous outdoor space, with a pool and barbeque. The hot tub was a bonus. We also wanted somewhere quiet and away from the busy resorts. This apartment fully delivered in these areas. The pool is every bit as big as it looks in the pictures and we all enjoyed a swim every day of our stay. The pool and pool area are very clean and safe and fantastic for chilling out and enjoying awesome views. The pool is deep so be aware if you have young children. The hot tub was great but unfortunately sprung a leak so was out of action for half our stay but couldn't be helped. The apartment itself I would describe as quirky. It is not luxury, but perfectly functional and served all of our needs. A couple of things need updating but not a problem. The fact it is around the corner from the pool area is not a problem. It is built into the hillside so was actually quite cool and the fans in the bedrooms helped at night. There is everything you need to cook indoors as well as outdoors and the local supermarkets are adequate for most everyday needs although we visited Arrecife to access the bigger supermarkets. Despite the washing machines being outside, they work and there is a good area for drying your washing. Peter and Chris were fantastic. Peter picked us up from the airport as arranged and dropped us into Puerto del Carmen at the end of our day as requested. You have to have a car to see the island and they arranged this. We had an issue one day and Chris rescued us and provided us with another vehicle. You can park right outside the property-very useful after that first big shop! Despite Peter and Carroll living on site they respected our privacy and we hardly saw them. If you are after a quiet location with a fantastic outdoor space and don't mind a few steps, this apartment is fab. If you want 5 star luxury and lots going on, this is not the place for you! Thank you to Peter and Chris for making our stay as enjoyable and trouble free as possible!

Won’t let me put ZERO stars. Avoid!! Deceiving pictures. False advertising. Awful experience.
I booked a quiet, relaxing 7 nights holiday for myself, my two sisters and our elderly mother at this accommodation. The property overview stated that the property is “suitable for the elderly and infirm” and does not mention any staircases. We were led to believe that it was a ground floor apartment with a private pool. This was not the case in either instance! My mother and one of my sisters have to use a stick to aid walking as they both have joint problems. They both find stairs very difficult due to their conditions. there was no parking available on the property so we had to park on the sloped road. We walked up to the gate and were concerned to see a flight of stairs from the road to the area of the pool and (presumably) our accommodation. It was not our accommodation at all. The owner (Chris) lead us around the back of the main property, through a courtyard (that resembled a scrap metal yard) to a door next to a garage. When he opened the door we were shocked and very upset to see another, much steeper very narrow, staircase.There were no handrails to aid climbing the stairs so it was a real struggle to get my mother, sister and all our luggage into the property. I told the owner about my concerns about the stairs and that the overview stayed it was suitable for the elderly and infirm and he just replied with “oh well, you’re here now. Just enjoy it” I also voiced my concerns about it having a *private pool* and that, in fact, it was not a private pool for our own use as his father lives in the property that the pool belongs to and directly overlooks it. We couldn’t even see the pool from our accommodation. We were all so upset. We had to stay the night as it was late but my husband (in the uk) worked frantically to find us alternative accommodation. The next day I told the owner it was impossible for us to stay because of the stairs and asked about a refund as it was not as stated. He said “tough, it’s gone. BYE!” He was intimidating and rude. We had only stayed in his property for 13 hours. The accommodation it’s self was in a poor state of repair with rust on everything metal. The fridge wasn’t cold. The old stove-top kettle was dangerous as there want even a tea towel to pick it up with. There was a 3” splinter of wood sticking out of the stairs. There is NO utility room just 4 rusted washing machines outside, exposed to the elements. I wanted to add photos but this site doesn’t give the option. Next step, legal action! Nightmare!!

Great pool and views
We had a lovely time here. The pools is fantastic (if a little chilly for me, but I am a wuss) and this made the holiday for the children, as did the hot tub. The views are wonderful, made all the better with new glass panels which make the most of the views. The apartment is a good size, if a little tired and dated, but the price reflects this I think and it is good value for money. The only other thing is that I had the impression from the photos that the apartment opened out directly onto the pool but it is around the side of the building. This actually really didn't matter much though for us, although if you had small children you would need to be out by the pool all the time if they wanted to be there. There's also a sun room which was warm to sit in when the wind was chilly. Finally, Chris was really welcoming and helpful and hiring a car from them was so easy and brilliant and a must for exploring the island.

Great pool and fantastic views
The recent poor review gave us some last minute concerns but in our opinion the negative feedback was not representative of our experience. It may not be luxury but it had everything we needed and the pictures give a good representation- a really warm pool, good outside space and views, comfy beds and helpful hosts. You will need a car to see other parts of the island and the airport pick up and drop off and car hire with the owners provide made things easy. The property has everything you need and whilst we found it a bit strange that things like salt and pepper, sugar weren’t in small supply - not a critisism as it was advertised - we normally get them in rentals. We used the washing machine and it works fine and can’t help a bit of rust when they are undercover outside - this is normal from our experience. We enjoyed our holiday and appreciate the owners are very helpful, on hand, but leave you to yourselves as it should be. Thanks

if you want bars and karaoke don't come here,if you want chilled out relaxing hol with scenic views and beutifull pool this is the place.chris picked picked us up at airport and dropped us back and we hired car and WiFi off him for 9days all for £129.owners peter and Carol live at same place but in separate buildings you don't see them unless you want some info or advice which they are more than willing to help.deffo need a car here nearest restaurants in la santa 10 mins drive.chinese and la santa restaurant both nice food and good value.thanks for lovely holiday. When I first arrived I thought I was going to hate it as we were like 30 minutes away from all the tourist places and nothing like we had done before but wow I was wrong. The peace and tranquility was just lovely the pool was just wow and the hot tub my son and husband also loved. Peter carol and their son Chris are all lovely lovely people always on hand if needed but never did. We hired a car off peter which I highly recommend . I had never drove abroad before and found it so easy. I drove to different places every night trying different food places. Costa teguise was my sons favourite place to go but did also go to Puerto del carman a couple of times as both are the same distant away. We spent our days chilled going in the pool or the hot tub or just lying there in the peace. The views are also to die for. I myself and my husband would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much Peter and Carol hopefully we see you soon

Badly equipped property with no satellite TV and bad kitchen equipment, rusty bathroom fittings.
The pool and surrounds was fabulous apart from the sunbeds. The temperature was perfect and the ability to keep it at this temperature by the use of the electrically operated cover for the pool was very convenient. The beds were comfortable. There the positives end. Our washing machine was outside the apartment with 3 other 'dead' machines and was totally rusted at the bottom edge - i didn't want to use it. The cooker in the kitchen has dials to turn the hob on and it was very difficult to tell if they were on or off. There was no smoke detector or fire extinguisher or first aid kit and when I enquired, I was told there was no requirement to provide them. Not Luxury. There were not provisions provided - not from previous occupants - all cleared. There was no soap in the bathroom for us to wash our hands after using the toilet on our first day, very little paper, no condiments in the kitchen area - absolutely nothing. Again, it was the "health and safety gestapo" that disallowed this apparently. But not providing soap in the bathroom is surely a health and safety issue in itself. I would not consider it suitable for any with a disability or infirm as there are about 10 steps from the pavement up to the property area and another 14 up to the apartmentment.

Homely, well equipped apartment with plenty of space inside and out.
Had a great week long holiday here with my husband and two kids aged 10 and 7. The pool and hot-tub were excellent and allowed us to use the facilities even at the cooler times of the day. There were various pool and sand toys we were free to use which added to the fun the boys had. Peter the owner lives on site and was available for any queries etc but otherwise left us to enjoy our holiday. Our hosts provided us with a hire car and airport pickup and drop off at a very reasonable price and we explored a lot of this small but varied island. Couldn't have asked for more and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Una verguenza , la peor experiencia
Estaba la casa y la terraza infestada de cucarachas nos tubimos que ir la primera noche a dormir en el coche y por supuesto no volvimos mas a la casa. Aun asi vrbo no a echo absolutamente nada para ayudarnos , aun y mostrandole los videos de las mismas. Nos han robado casi 500 euros! Y nos hemos tenido que buscar cualquier apartamento para el resto de los días no quedarnos en la calle. Peater una persona muy muy desagradable y poco resolutivo. Primeramente le explicamos de buena manera la siguiente y le ofrecimos llegar a un acuerdo mutuo , no quiso , y solo queria echar un spray anticucarachas en el espacio y que siguiesemos durmiendo ayi, cosa que como todos comprenderan no iva a pasar, termino hasta por amenazarnos el a nosotros , una experiencia horrible. El soporte de la aplicación no podia ser peor, no nos ayudaban en nada , nos tubieron hasta las 3:00 de la mañana entrando y saliendo de la casa para grabar videos que luego decian que no era suficiente prueba. Ademas de eso al siguiente dia llamamos para que nos ayudasen nuevamente y la chica nos colgo el telefono sin dar una explicación alguna. La peor aplicación de alquiler vacacional y por supuesto el peor soporte. Una vergüenza.

These clients were absolutely horrible. There were 2 or 3 cockroaches which entered through the roof skylight when they opened it. The Manager attended within 30 minutes of being contacted, they refused to let him him, they them told VRBO they were leaving which they did not, they complained strongly to VRBO who after viewing our video evidence did not uphold their complaint and refused them any kind of refund. It is our belief that they had booked our apartment in a rural area and as they did not have a car did not want to be in such an area. We have no control over what clients write and can only take comfort in the fact that these people will not return. Estos clientes eran absolutamente horribles. Había 2 o 3 cucarachas que entraron por la claraboya del techo cuando la abrieron. El gerente asistió dentro de los 30 minutos de haber sido contactado, se negaron a dejarlo, le dijeron a VRBO que se irían y no lo hicieron, se quejaron enérgicamente a VRBO, quien después de ver nuestra evidencia en video no confirmó su queja y les negó cualquier tipo. de reembolso Creemos que habían reservado nuestro apartamento en una zona rural y, como no tenían coche, no querían estar en esa zona. No tenemos control sobre lo que escriben los clientes y solo podemos consolarnos con el hecho de que estas personas no regresarán.

Se puede mejorar bastante con poco.
Apartamento con escalera algo incómodo, suelo de madera muy ruidoso , colchones ya pasados incómodos. Zona de terraza compartido el.paso con los dueños algo extraño, alrededores muy descuidados con restos de maquinaria y chatarra no muy buena imagen. Dueños amables con contacto mínimo de agradecer. Lo pasamos bien buena piscina y jacuzzi, además de las vistas.

Gracias por tu valoración e intentaré responder. Lamentamos que el título de la propiedad 'apartamento en soo' no le diera una pista sobre el hecho de que no era una villa. Las comodidades no se comparten con nadie más y no lo fueron durante su estadía. De hecho, también nos sorprendió que reservaras para tres adultos y un niño y en el número máximo de personas había 14 personas alrededor de la piscina. En la lista se indica claramente que este no es un "lugar de fiesta", pero tratamos de relajar las reglas, pero algunos aún se aprovechan.

Relax en Lanzarote
El apartamento es estupendo. Lo mejor es la piscina privada y el jacuzzi. La zona exterior es muy amplia. El apartamento es cómodo. La ubicación es perfecta. Está en Soo, un pueblo genuino de Lanzarote, donde se respira relax. Está muy cerca de la fantástica playa de Famara y del bonito pueblo pesquero de La Santa

Vue imprenable depuis le jacuzzi
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Peter. L’appartement est fonctionnel et constitue un excellent point de départ pour visiter toute l’île. Il se situe juste derrière la maison de Peter et donne accès à une piscine chauffée, un jacuzzi et une petite véranda avec une vue imprenable sur la vallée et le coucher de soleil. Peter est un hôte attentif et réactif au moindre problème et qui a pu rester discret. Petit bémol le logement ne comprend pas les éléments de base tels que sel, poivre, liquide vaisselle, éponge, papier toilette, allumettes pour la cuisinière au gaz, etc. Dans l’ensemble nous retournerions chez Peter les yeux fermés pour notre prochain séjour à Lanzarote!

I am not really sure if I should write these words in Spanish or English since the owners of the house speak fluentlier in the language of Shakespeare than Cervantes. Anyway we had a great time in Soo.The house was wonderful; everything you could need in the house and tyhe wonderful pool with marvellous views from there- Soo was a nice place, full of clouds every day in July, perfect to relax from sunny hot daytime in the island.We could say than Soo is 15 minutes far from sun but it is perfect to walk through the 4 volcano-mountains from the house to Famara Beach. We can only say thank you to Mr and Mrs Carroll for thir nice hospitality and wish her some more good health for the future. You will enjoy the house and the location.Perfect

Séjour reporté à cause de la pandémie. Mais le propriétaire refuse de répondre à nos messages (mails et appels téléphoniques). Il accepte de reporter de notre séjour et de nous accorder 50 % de notre acompte quand vos agents lui demandent de le faire, mais en réalité il n'a rien changé. Les démarches durent depuis plusieurs semaines !

Normally I would not respond to a customers complaints on public media but they have used this review to do so. Firstly they should not be posting this review as their holiday was cancelled due to the fact that they did not complete the payment for the holiday. This fact has been confirmed by Home Away and the paragraph below is taken from their email to me today "I have contacted our review moderating team and they confirmed the reservation should have been cancelled due to the missing payment for the traveler to be unable to leave a review". They accuse me of being a dishonest liar and state that I have taken money from people who have holiday Insurance, all of our clients who have had to cancel with the exception of these people have paid in full and have been offered the chance to re book at their convenience. Due to the lack of payment and the fact that they have decided to try and damage my business with this one star review which is full lies and conjecture in accordance clearly posted on our Home Away site, they will not be offered the chance to re book. On a final note, if Home Away admit that this review should not have been posted I do not understand why they have not removed it and I doubt that they will not allow me to post this response.

Great place with a great view!
We had a great stay here. The apartment is situated in a quiet village. The view from the pool area over the volcanoes is awesome. The apartment was much bigger than we expected and perfectly clean. The kitchen is equipped with everything you can possibly imagine. Many thanks to the house manager Chris, who has been very helpful during our stay. Especially during the last part of our stay, in which we were locked down. Thanks once again. We wish you and your family all the best and we hope to come back one day!

Wer die Ruhe liebt ist hier bestens aufgehoben.Kein nerviger Touristentrubel,kein Geschäft neben dem anderen und keine saufenden Touristen die bis spät in die Nacht gröhlen.Kleines Manko ist, dass die Spanier ihre Hunde bellen lassen, bis diese irgendwann einmal aufhören. Dass Anwesen liegt erhöht über Soo und man hat einen traumhaften Blick über die Insel und raus aufs Meer. Peter und seine Frau sind zwei gant liebnswürdige Menschen,die wir sofort ins Herz geschlossen haben.Peter kümmert sich um alles und erfüllt Anliegen nicht irgendwann sondern sofort. Dass Apartement selbst liegt im Hinterhof im ersten Stockwerk Für gehbehinderte Menschen ist es wohl eher ungeeignet.Ich schreibe dieses bewußt, um Negativbewertungen deswegen zu vermeiden. Vom Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer hat man einen traumhaften Blick über Lanzarote.Es ist eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche mit allen Utensilien vorhanden.Es gibt genügend Schlafmöglichkeiten . Ein wunderschöner Pool und ein Whirlpool liegen im vorderen Teil des Anwesens und sind jederzeit zu nutzen. Obwohl Peter und seine Frau auf dem Anwesen wohnen,hat man jederzeit seine Privatsphäre.Wir haben uns in keinster Weise gestört gefühlt. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen.Gerne werden wir eines Tages wieder kommen.Dann auf jeden Fall wieder bei Peter und Carroll. Wir wünschen den beiden alles alles Gute und freuen uns auf ein nächstes Mal.

Excellent séjour dans cette localité calme. La piscine et la terrasse sont vraiment excellentes mais l'appartement, un peu en retrait, ne peut être qualifié de "luxe". Un peu vétuste mais très pratique et fonctionnel. Nous aurions apprécié le luxe supplémentaire d'une machine à laver la vaisselle. Les propriétaires sont chaleureux, réactifs et à la fois discret (Esprit anglais?) . Excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Beau petit séjour avec quelques surprises
Nous sommes assez mitigés concernant l'appréciation à donner à cette propriété: nous ne nommerions pas cette propriété "appartement de luxe".. Outre l'accueil agréable de Chris à l'aéroport , nous avons regretté vivement le manque de contact et de chaleur des propriétaires. L'infrastructure extérieure est cependant très belle :5/5 pour la piscine et le sauna ainsi que pour la terrasse si vous pouvez en profitez.Nous avons eu personnellement trop de vent pour espérer manger dehors. L'aménagement de l 'appartement nous a semblé un peu vétuste cependant toutes nos demandes de remplacement ont été directement prise en compte ( surmatelas pour un lit défectueux, nouvelle poele....).Certaines choses doivent être améliorées.. La situation est bien centrale et pour ceux qui adorent la nature , les découvertes , les randos et la vie calme tout cela en étant hors du tourisme de masse , vous apprécierez. La voiture de location est un peu veillotte et réserve quelques surprises mais c'est finalement ce qui en a fait son charme! A vous de découvrir par vous même....nous avons cependant passé de très bonnes vacances.
