Pool area gets Sun all day and is well sheltered by glass panels. Small pool is great for moderate exercise & cooling off. Villa is spacious, clean & well equipped. Lisa is very responsive & helpful for any queries you may have. We had a lovely holiday, thank you 🙏

Relaxing break
Nice clean house, in gated community. Only the two of us, so plenty of room for our month stay. Mixed it up, either ate out at any of number of restaurants or made use of the bbq. Bit of an incline walking to nearest supermarket or marina. Only negative. There was a cat who we had to keep an eye on, especially if any of the doors were open. Wouldn't put us off returning though, and would recommend.

Lovely Villa
We really enjoyed our stay in this well equipped villa. About 20 min walk from the marina qnd just a bit further to the old town. Lovely outside space. Only minor point is it would be useful to have some drawers in the bedroom but there was plenty of other storage. Communication with owner was always prompt and helpful. Would happily stay again.

Just great !!

Lovely villa.
Home from home, with everything you could need for your stay. Small pool, freezing in February but Im sure will heat up in summer and we could have had it heated. Nice to have a private patio/ pool area. It is a bit of a walk, maybe 20 mins into marina area but fine as long as you have no mobility issues.

FIRST the villa is everything stated spotless great layout tbh can’t fault in any way .Wee stayed here for 2 weeks could not RECOMMEND HIGHLY ENOUGH very close to main centre also marina close .Also host Lisa there to help in an instant very impressive and pool cleaning and villa cleaning included in service Lisa offers .So if looking for tranquil holiday fantastic area pool great gated complex for extra security tho not needed place so quit and friendly also all you need for great hood start at VILLA MARIESA you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful villa inside & out. Ideal for 2 couples with having bedroom & bathroom on 2 floors gave privacy. We made lots of use of the generous outside south facing private pool area. Lisa Bret & Jodie were very helpful for anything we needed Thankyou to you all we will be back next year .

Nice Villa and good owner to deal with
Firstly, let me say that this is a lovely villa in good overall condition and had everything we needed. Lisa was easy to deal with and always prompt to reply and dealt with any queries quickly and easily, providing a welcome pack of essentials for our arrival. Check-in/out was easy and straightforward and Lisa accommodated a late check-out which was very much appreciated. There are a few things I would recommend to make the villa a little bit more comfortable for guests, such as providing additional towels. On contacting Lisa she did arrange for extra towels for us and we were grateful for that. The sun loungers are not particularly comfortable and could benefit from better cushions (the ones there are very worn) or even by being replaced with ones of a higher quality. Similarly, the plastic table and chairs are not the most comfortable when in the heat, so again some cushions would have been appreciated. The pool cover is worn and damaged and there were bits of plastic floating in the pool each day after using it. The look of the surrounding area of the villa did surprise us when we arrived, even although it has been mentioned here that there are unfinished villas nearby. Please be aware it's the same development and the immediate next block. It's pretty unsightly which is a shame because it would be a beautiful development if it was completed. The area is quiet and appears to be safe and we had a lovely holiday. It's a good 20 minutes walk to the marina and the supermarket is 15 minutes walk away which didn't bother us as we managed to get our steps in each day! Overall a nice villa and helpful host who was easy to deal with and just a few points that could have made it better. Thanks

I would just like to address some points: -There are a suitable number of towels provided for all guests, you asked for more and although I incurred extra costs to provide these, this was no problem. -Regarding the sun loungers, we will be updating them before the year is out. -We will be changing the pool cover also, unfortunately this received quite a bit of damage from previous guests and we have not had a minute to change it throughout the busy season. -Regarding the unfinished villas, as you say, this is made quite clear to all guests but most people agree that it does not take away from the lovely haven inside the villa. Best holiday EVER!
Well what can I say about Villa Las Velas... from the minute I booked with Lisa I knew we were in good hands. She was so quick to respond to any queries I had. Paying deposit and booking was so easy. Lisa was a joy to deal with all the way through. She sent us a comprehensive list a few weeks before with absolutely everything we needed to know, directions, places to go, how to access gate etc. We were blown away when we arrived, the villa was amazing! It has absolutely everything you would ever need for a fantastic holiday. I always always wash the dishes, cutlery etc when I arrive at a property but this is the first time I didn't. It was spotless, immaculate. The washing machine was brilliant, I know its sad to go on holidays and have the washing machine on but with 2 kids who attract dirt, its a necessity. Big washing line means you only need to pack light as clothes were dry in an hour! The wifi and tv worked perfectly and high speed. Beds were the most comfortable I've stayed in on holidays, even the kid's commented on how comfy they were. Pool area, seats, pool, all absolutely spotless. Plenty of towels. Kitchej

Villa was great ,with everything you need and more......be warned tho leading up to it there are some villas which haven't been built yet which makes the complex look unpleasant ......but as soon as your in the villa you don't notice it . About a 20 minute walk to the beach or marina

Lovely villa with the bonus of your own pool
This was our second stay at this villa. Once again a very pleasurable stay. Villa has everything you need. Having the option of having the pool heated was well worth. Very quiet location. Well position for shops, restaurants and Marina Rubicon, we did have a hire car but is easily walkable if you are able. Will definitely consider returning in the future.

We enjoyed our stay of 4 weeks at the Villa.The property contains everything you need so it is like home from home.A car is preferable if staying there.We are both retired and were unable to hire as neither had Driving Licences with us. It is also a shame that some half built nearby properties are becoming derelict. Having said this it is no reflection on the Villa.The support of Jodie and Brett during our stay was brilliant.Certainly was not looking forward to our return to the UK yesterday.Overall all enjoyable stay.

Pleasant villa in a quiet location
We visited in November under difficult circumstances (following a bereavement) but this made for a good escape for the two of us, as much as a holiday. The location was quiet enough, but the marina (Rubicon) was still within comfortable walking distance for a night out. There are some excellent restaurants. We found the bed downstairs very comfortable. Impressed with the television (IPTV) which seemed to cover all the channels which we could watch at home on Freeview - and then some. The heated pool was good for a soak every day and the all important wifi allowed us to keep in touch back home.

Fantastic Villa and Good Location
Perfect for two couples - bedroom and bathroom on each floor. Modern furniture and well equipped. TV and internet were fast and covered more channels than you need for a week. Pool was warm and good size - not for serious swimmers but more for relaxing and fun. Marina, beach and shops all within a nice 10 to 20 min walk - or €3.50 taxi. Would go back again no problem and owner Lisa very helpful and accommodating - fast response.

Lovely Villa, great Pool, Excellant Host
Really lovely Villa, great size with really nice feel to it. all the things you need already there. Pool was really great, perfect size for a family. about 15-20 minute walk away to the local restaurant and bars, but with some really nice place there. Only small issues is to get to the center its about 45 minutes walk, and you may feel you need a car, but this would not be a must have.

Lovely Villa
This is a really lovely villa, clean and well equipped with everything you need for your stay. Situated in a very quiet area but close enough to the shops and bars/restaurants so that everything is within walking distance if you don't want to rent a car. The beds and sofa's are super comfortable, garden/pool area very clean and well maintained,helpful information pack and loads of channels on the TV. Owner is super helpful and very quick to respond to emails during and after the booking process. Hope to return again next year.

Lovely holiday
Villa is clean and has everything you need and more. It is a little walk to the shops and beach, but that didn’t bother me and I knew this before booking. A 15 min walk is nothing to me, however I had two toddlers in tow and so we hired a car. We had a wonderful holiday and the kids loved the pool.

Fantastic villa, quiet location
We had a fantastic week in the villa. It was clean, spacious and well equipped. The kids loved the pool! Communication with Lisa was fantastic from first enquiry and she promptly answered queries. Brett and Jodie were also fantastic and sorted out any issues immediately during our stay. The villa was in a quiet location with a 10 minute walk to the shop and a 20 minute walk to the lovely harbour. We are already looking to return.

Property was in immaculate condition. Very comforatable
I stayed here for 7 night with 2 children, the pool is an absolute asset to the property as my kids made great use of it. It was also heated and very clean. There was everything I could have needed for the weeks stay including a washing machine which was such a great help. Beds very comfortable and plenty room to relax and watch Telly in the evenings. Only about a 15 minute walk down to marina and shops. We had such a fabulous stay in this property and will definitely be booking again

Villa comfortable, clean and well maintained
Comfortable, clean and well maintained villa, overall very good but hopefully a couple of constructive comments below. Environment could be a little more bright and homely. Pool and pool area lovely and private too, some nice sunbed cushions would be lovely. Bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and very clean but shower gel/soap holders need replacing. Slight problem whilst we were there which was dealt with swiftly and efficiently for us. Enjoyed walk to the Marina area, nearest supermarket 10 mins away so bottle of water on arrival would have been much appreciated. Lovely holiday, enjoyed it and overall very good.

There was actually maintenance planned for the villa at the end of January which has now been completed and shower gels holders have been replaced as intended along with other necessary feedback. We used to have sun lounger cushions but they were very difficult and costly to keep clean so unfortunately we had to dispose of them. We are looking to upgrade our sun loungers in time. Ideal for couples looking for quiet holidays
Lovely Villa but the location is not practical for children. It took 20min to walk to the Marina, 15 min to the nearest shop. You would need a car if renting this Villa, Otherwise booking Taxis you may book 20min in advance. The villa is beautiful couldn’t fault the accommodation. Brilliant tv with all UK and Irish channels.

Not completely satisfied customers
This is the fourth year we have rented a holiday villa and were quite disappointed at how impersonal it was. There were no drawers, pictures or mirrors on the walls in the bedrooms and no toilet roll holders in either bathroom. The downstairs bathroom didn't even have a towel rail! The bathrooms did have mirrors but they were so high up that I could not even see into them (though everyone is not as short as me!). The kitchen was poorly stocked - not even a cloth to wipe down the outside table (which was covered in stains and dust when we arrived). The BBQ was FILTHY and, as there were no cleaning materials in the villa, we could not use it. Even though the villa states that it sleeps 5 people there were only 3 wine glasses, 4 sets of cutlery, 3 sunbeds and four chairs at each table. This villa cost the same as we paid last year in mainland Spain, but the entire outside area was about the same size as the swimming pool in the other villas. We were also taken aback when we saw that the buildings at the front of the estate were not completed. We arrived at night and would not have driven through the entrance if a couple had not arrived in a taxi and confirmed that we had indeed arrived at our destination. I know it is not the owner's fault that the development of the other villas is not complete, but I think we should have been warned about this. We were not bothered that the villa is a bit out of the way, but it could do with a more 'homely' feel to it. If we had wanted impersonality we would have chosen an hotel room. A stay in this villa would be enhanced if the owner provided a few basic essentials - salt, pepper, oil, matches or a lighter, but especially things to clean with! I am happy to keep a holiday villa clean but I refuse to go out and buy the cleaning equipment to do so. A positive point was the pool cover - kept the water lovely and warm. Other than the above issues with the villa we had a lovely holiday.

Hi Sheila, Thanks for taking the time to review the villa but I have to say I am keep disappointed and upset regarding your comments. I would like to address some issues: 1. I made it clear as I do to all guests when i am sending driving directions and access codes to contact myself and/or Jodie/Brett with any issues you may have. So instead of doing this and enabling us to fix the situation, you decided to criticise. 2. I feel that alot of your comments are a bit petty; no pictures/mirrors in the bedrooms and bathroom mirrors too high?! 3. You mention 3 sun loungers; there are 4, 1 in upstairs on the terrace. 4 chairs - there were only 2 of you staying so I am unaware how this affected your stay? 4. uncompleted buildings in the estate - as you say - not our fault but if you had read some other guest reviews you would have been aware of this and that information is listed on our property ad, you must have missed it. 5. Regarding cutlery, glasses, thank you for highlighting this, this will be amended. 6. Thanks for the comments about the pool. 7. Regarding the size of the garden, no two villas are the same. 8. I am annoyed how you failed to mention that you got a mid clean of the villa for FREE during your stay but it seems you were reluctant to say anything nice about the villa. As mentioned I am disappointed you did not mention any of these issues during your stay and I am sure you can see every other review we have is positive so I am not too concerned about your comments. I usually like to welcome all guests back in the future but perhaps it would be better for you to visit somewhere less impersonal. All the best, Lisa

Great Holiday
We had a fantastic holiday in Lisa’s villa – the photographs of the property really don’t do it justice! Spotlessly clean, spacious and with everything required for a splendid holiday. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds and pillows were very comfortable and there is plenty of storage space. We found the location perfect for a quiet week away, but ideal for accessing all that Playa Blanca has to offer. The beautiful Papagayo beaches were easy to reach and the marina was within walking distance. Playa Blanca also has wonderful beaches and an enormous choice of eateries. We hired a car to visit various attractions and towns on the island and appreciated the parking place outside the property. We thoroughly enjoyed the private pool which, although unheated, was plenty warm enough to use daily; the children loved it. We also had a barbeque one evening which was fun. Many thanks to Lisa for all your prompt and efficient communication prior to our departure (including excellent directions from the airport to the villa) and to Brett for your assistance on the island. Fantastic Villa - very clean and well laid out
Loved the villa. Deceptively spacious. Nicely secluded pool which is a sun trap. It's a little further out of town than we would normally book. However nice walk down to marina and taxi back solves that problem. Some of the properties in the area are unfinished due to a local property scandal, which is a shame as it detracts from what is a decent standard of development. Hopefully they'll be completed at some point as we would be interested in buying one.

Lovely villa in quiet location
Just spent a week in this property. Clean and everything we needed. Quiet location. Although not necessary we had hired a car for the week which we found useful to use on an evening to go to the Marina or Playa blanca due to some unlit roads when walking back in the dark. Would definitely recommend the villa and the pool was a lively added extra. Would suit people with mobility problems as there is a downstairs bedroom and bathroom.

Lovely house, well equipped
We knew what to expect in terms of location based on previous reviews. Shame that the estate development has ground to a halt (about 50% occupied), and it is a little out in the Styx, but with a car it isn't a problem. Lisa's directions are spot on and the local agents are helpful and attentive. We stayed 3 weeks and they cleaned and changed linen etc after weeks one and two. The pool is great - unfortunately we could use it only once as the February temperatures seldom exceeded 20C by much. We did use the BBQ a lot however. The house is well furnished and equipped and the TV system, which uses internet, was very welcome with lots of English (and Irish) channels. Likewise the wifi was good. The poolside patio is lovely and sheltered on windy days, but the upstairs balcony is exposed. If you rent a large vehicle it may not fit the allocated parking bay, but in that case there is a bigger car parking area around the corner. There is a Hyperdino supermarket 15 mins walk away which is reasonably priced with a good butcher's counter, and another 5 minutes walk reaches a very friendly restaurant, so it is possible to manage without a car. However street lighting is patchy and a taxi is desirable after dark - they are cheap and plentiful. It is a pleasant walk along the prom from the Rubicon into Playa Blanca with lots of restaurants at each and bars en-route. There is a bus service but this runs by the supermarket so it's 15 minutes walk away and hardly worth the effort. The main attraction for us is the proximity of the amazing Papagayo beaches, and if you're reasonably fit it would be possible to walk to the nearest in about an hour. We parked near the Los Colonades complex and walked from there most days, and it took us only 40 minutes to the farthest beach. The paths are well marked but it isn't easy underfoot though and undulating to say the least. If that's too challenging, you can drive into the national park for 3 euro per visit, but take care as the road is rough and bady corrugated in parts and we saw one vehicle overturn, probably through going too fast. They would have had an interesting discussion with the car rental company......! There are two really good bar/cafes on the headland so in spite of what some reports may say it isn't essential to take provisions with you. So thank you, Lisa and family, for allowing us to use an excellent property that is really good VFM.

The propery was exactly as described and was spotlessly clean.
The property is very well equipped and in a very quiet area. It is a short walk from the marina and a bit longer into Playa Blanca. We had hired a car and although not absolutely essential, it would have been a bit of a walk back from the supermarket if we did not have it. The property is a very relaxing place and was very clean and well kept.

Quiet and Comfortable Villa.
I stayed here for 2 weeks and had a really relaxing break. The villa is in a really quiet location yet it only takes around 15 minutes to walk to the Marina Rubicon and about 30-35 minutes to the centre of Playa Blanca. The information on the Home and Away website is totally accurate and communication with the owner prior to arrival was very easy with immediate responses to any queries I had. Villa was spotless and had everything you need for a Holiday. Would definitely use again

Quiet and relaxing
I already left a very positive review of this property. It was very modern and made for a superb holiday. The property is quite far away from the marina - a car is definitely required but it's a great villa. Lisa was also an excellent owner who gave great assistance to anyone living in the villa. Top Unterkunft
Wir waren für 2 1/2 Wochen da und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Unterkunft ist ca.5min mit dem Auto vom Strand entfernt. Sauber, gepflegt und toller kleiner Pool für die Kinder. Parkplatz ist direkt vor der Türe, Küche gut ausgestattet, ruhige Lage. Werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen

Das Objekt ist gut beschrieben! Tischdecke und auch die Liegestühle könnten einen Wechsel benötigen! Für 4 Personen bestimmt super für 6 ist es doch draußen zu eng! Kaum Liegefläche Ansonnsten war es schön

Per chiunque abbia intenzione di fare il tour dell’isola o comunque godersi le splendide spiagge di Playa Dorada, Playa Blanca e Playa Papagayo, o magari fare un salto a Fuorteventura, Villa Azalea è veramente la soluzione è ideale.
