Ocean Views
Really enjoyed our stay, lovely clean apartment with everything we needed, great little Spa shop very close and nice bars snd restaurants in a quiet location. We was aware of the renovation work but it was noisier than anticipated due to the apartment next door being stripped, the slabbing around the poor and roadworks all at the same time. We got use to it though and would definitely stay again 😃

Nice apartment meet and greet would be nice
Overall this apartment was very good lots of room and everything on hand that is needed.Would have been nice to have someone show us exactly where it was but the instructions were very good.The walk to Puerto del Carmen was just over a mile and downhill going but coming back could be hard.Not suitable for people who cannot walk easily.We have young children 14 and 17 who found it easy!A car would have been good but overall if you plan your day out then it’s no problem!

Nice apartment on an awful complex!
The description says there is a pool and reception. In fact the pool is empty and fenced off and the reception building derelict. As such these details on the website should be deleted. The complex resembles an abandoned building site owing to "renovation:" work ceasing due to a dispute. There are electrical wires hanging from walls and ceiling leading to the apartment and the whole frontage (facing the road) is fenced off. Shame really because the apartment suited us well!

Many thanks kath to recognize that our Apt is very nice and suitable. As you know before Booking it, the complex is in works since 2 years with a justice problèm. We never rent it with swimming pool..and we are separate owner and never in touch with réception even before thé works..It's not appear on the publicity and pictures and in the announce. The Price is also less for that... Even you didn't understand that ..you'll be ever welcome..

Lovely stay
Just got back from a week in Carols apartment. We are a family of 4 adults and it suited us well. Very well priced for the location. Lots of space, particularly enjoyed the 3 terraces. One of the single beds was more comfortable than the other. Would definitely go back. Thanks!

I had a two week holiday with two of my brothers, retired/semi retired.
It's our second visit to Puerto del Carmen the previous visit before Covid. The location is ideal to access the strip / Old Town and coastal path to Puerto Calero and Playa Quemada. The apartment has three balconies with panaramic views from each offering great outdoor space. The TV has every channel imaginable including Sky sports. A bit of a water supply problem but this was rectified after a quick call to Carol. The only downside was no BBQ but we will definitely return in the near future. Thanks

Excellent stay amazing views and location
We had a lovely stay at the apartment lovely location and views and a great terrace with sunbeds that is a suntrap all day.There is a lot of renovation work going on and and at first was a little off putting but once settled and in apartment it didnt bother us or spoil our stay we would return again.

Stunning views
The apartment is spotlessly clean. Everything you need for a holiday. Lovely and quiet..3 Large terrace,s with stunning views..The sun loungers are lovely on one terrace a great heat trap. If you just require a base to stay then this is perfect..Places to eat and a Spar couple of minutes walk..Few minutes walk to the Harbour. Communication with Carol has been great all the way through. Good TV.plenty of British channels.. I feel this has had some bad reviews, The complex is in a state of repair but the apartment is lovely and comfortable..Would definitely stay again.

Nice Apartment with great terrace.
Apartment itself is located in a nice area only a couple of minutes from bars, restaurants and a Spar and 10/15 minutes to the harbour area. We found it clean and comfortable and it had absolutely everything you would need for a fully self- catered holiday. Terraces have nice views and are versatile in offering sun and shade with plenty of outdoor furniture. Communications with Carol were good throughout and she had a water problem sorted very quickly. She kindly allowed us a late check -out. Only temporary down side is that the passage and stairs to the apartment are not very inviting given renovation works underway at the complex. Works were taking place when we were there but they did not disturb us even when we were on the terrace. We would happily return to the apartment.

The apartment was decent, but in the middle of a building site!
We have just returned from this property, where we stayed for one week. Although the balcony views were good and the apartment was overall of a decent level, we were let down by the environment in which we found it. What we felt was lacking was some honesty and transparency. The site is in a state of disarray, where there are some health and safety concerns, e.g. lack of lighting as you approach the top floor and lots of work still to be carried out. We did experience some electricity tripping issues and a smoke alarm which had not been checked (no battery fitted), both of which were notified to Carol. However, she was not the easiest of people to deal with - we were not informed of the renovation works when we booked this property, there was no swimming pool (as listed) and we were initially given the wrong address. After full payment was made, only then were we informed about the renovations, but no mention that there were no facilities. The site looked more like a demolition job than a renovation project and we were later made aware by some local residents that the work had been left for some time, due to an ongoing dispute. We also requested a slightly later checking out time, which was initially approved, but then on the morning of our departure we were greeted by the cleaner at 9.45am, after which Carol then telephoned saying: "you need to leave my apartment now". She was very discourteous and even called us a liar at one point, when we tried to explain about the slightly later check out, which she had earlier confirmed in an e mail. She later apologised for the misunderstanding. Overall, this is not an area we would return to, in its current state.

I want to apologize for the environment area. Normally, the works have to be finished at your arrival. As you, the appartment was nice and perfect. For the relationship, we got a problem together, because in one week, you call me everyday, asking for little problem, as no battery in the smoked alarm, etc...At the end, when the cleaning lady come to clean and that you say that you don't want to leave and she has to phone me for that...I was really upset and ask you to get out in two hours, because somebody is coming the same day, and she needs to clean quickly...I never insult you, but it' was a bad moment for each other. Sorry for this bad moment

Beautiful apartment fully equipped lovely area in the old town
Beautiful apartment there are 3 balconies separated by sliding glass doors. Beautiful sea views. Fully equipped kitchen. Beds are comfortable. Carol the property owner is easily contacted by phone and is very friendly and helpful. Free Wi-Fi. The apartment is situated in the old town close to the harbour. Clean apartment. Would definitely recommend staying here

Great apartment with everything we could have needed. The views from the balconies were beautiful. There is obviously a lot of work to be done on the complex, but there was no building work going on whilst we were there. Great location for swimming at playa chica and access to shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A lovely, warm, comfortable and well equipped apartment with great views.
The apartment is warm, comfortable and well equipped. Carol, the owner was helpful and easy to deal with throughout the booking process and during our stay. The three terraces all have great views and are well furnished. The complex is currently undergoing a complete renovation and some of the public areas including reception and the pool/pool bar are unusable at the moment. When this work is completed this would be a desirable place to stay.

Apartment in old town Puerto Del Carmen
The apartment was fantastic, the outside space was also great and very sheltered from the fresh breeze. WiFi was great and the apartment was spotless. We would return to this apartment again but only when all renovations are complete, so we can enjoy the pool area etc. We enjoyed our stay and had good communication with Carol the owner before, during and after our stay.

Peaceful, spacious, lovely clean apartment
Beautiful clean, spacious penthouse apartment, with views to die for. Top class fittings and appliances throughout, with very comfortable beds. However, we were concerned with lack of information regarding emergency telephone numbers for hospital, police, fire, ambulance etc. There was also a lack of smoke alarms or fire blankets/extingiushers, which we think should be obligatory. There was no local tourist information, which did not apply to us, as we are seasoned Lanzarote visitors. Apart from these observations, we would thoroughly recommend this apartment and hope to return.

Great location if you don't mind a little walk to bars etc. Beautiful views from all 3 balconies.
We really enjoyed our stay. Everything you need to live comfortably. Fully equipped kitchen. Roomy bathroom. Comfy bed and lounge. Need to walk to get to shops and bars but pleasant. Up hill coming back. Very clean lovely apartment. Would recommend.

Overall we found the apartment very disappointing
We didn't think the standard of the accommodation warranted the rental cost. For this price we didn't expect issues such as:- Poor water supply from all outlets. Inability to put more than a couple of electrical items on at the same time ie: heater in bathroom and any other appliance such as a kettle or hairdryer! We also noticed, after heavy rain, that water was seeping through the wall in the twin bedded room. The general ambience of the property was not what we were expecting for a "Penthouse Apartment".

My answer to your review is that you are the only person telling that's a bad place until 2 years,...so, I dont' know what to think !?! Maybe you are upset because you broke the cover of WC and I ask you to send me 20 euros to repair it ...It's a pity for somebody asking for luxury appartment no want to pay it's damage...I am very disappointed about your behavior and hope you choose anywhere else for your next holidays...

Immaculate, home from home.
We stayed here for 16 nights in December for Christmas and New year. The apartment is everything you need. Having a full kitchen and washing machine made it even better. Three balconies and two bedrooms, bbq on the end balcony was brilliant. Cooked most nights on there. Location was excellent for us as we always have Christmas in pdc . The apartment and complex with a good sized pool is well worth staying there. Definitely book this apartment again. And carol is only a phone call away if you need any assistance. The only downside was , we didn't want to leave.

Lovely apartment. Close to the harbor.
We enjoyed our stay in Puerto del Carmen. The children really enjoyed the pool and the weather was lovely for most of the week (a couple of cloudy days) We would have really appreciated air conditioning as the temperature did get to 39 degrees which is particularly hard to sleep in. Other than that, the apartment had everything we needed and Carol has been very helpful, thank you.

Just back from staying in this beautiful apartment- has everything you need n very spacious. Only down side is the route from reception to the apartment is sloped and a bit tricky if you're elderly however this would not stop my mum joining us again Thanks Carol

Quiet resort with great views
Great accomadation with brillant sea views. Nice pool area and amenities all close by. Huge veranda which gives a lot of privacy. Loved our stay there and would definitely book again in the future.

we had a great holiday and stayed in this beautiful apartment, the balcony was lovely with great views, there was plenty of space for the four of us with plenty of towels and bed linen, the apartment was spotless clean and had everything we needed. the pool area was lovely and clean and the staff were very helpful. it was a bit hilly on the way into town but we got used to it, all in all a great holiday and we will definitely be returning

Absolutely everything was fantastic....the host Carol is a lovely lady and responds very quickly to any queries. The apartment is spacious for 4 people with everything you could possibly need for a holiday...from beach towels to binoculars to view the wonderful views from the 3 balconies. Quiet complex and very well maintained. Swimming pool was cleaned every morning and enough sun loungers to go around I highly recommend this accomodation

Comfortable, spacious, well-equipped apartment with beautiful views from 3 balconies
The apartment was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The views from the 3 balconies over the pool, over Fuerteventura and over Puerto del Carmen, are stunning at all times of day and night. We stayed in the apartment with our 2 children (aged 13 & 11) and found the facilities in the apartment and the complex to be perfect for our needs. The swimming pool was great, with a lifeguard present from 10 am until 5pm (the rules by the pool were a bit intimidating, but in true spanish style were not enforced, so the slide could be used a slide, not just a water feature as the sign suggested, inflatables could be used, and the pool was allowed to be used after 5pm!). The apartment complex was very handy for the old harbour and had easy access to local shops. We hired a car for wider exploring, and parking onsite was plentiful. The apartment owner, was very efficient and helpful as were the staff on site at the complex. We have been to Puerto del Carmen many times and love the friendliness of the place, the beautiful weather, great local food (especially the seafood) and many beautiful places to visit. We go for the diving, one of the best all-year dive locations ever, and the service from Island Watersports Lanzarote is the best!

Lovely apartment
Clean, spacious and light apartment (the pictures don't do it justice!) very well equipped for everything you need for a self catering holiday - lots of kitchen equipment, washing machine, dishwasher etc. Huge balcony that shields well against the wind in the evenings. The owner Carol is ever so helpful and always on hand to answer our (sometimes stupid) questions! Friendly and helpful staff on site. Swimming pool gets busy but very well maintained and there is a lifeguard overseeing things during the day. Would love to go back!

2 Monate auf der Baustelle
Zusammen mit meiner Frau habe ich jetzt 2 Monate in dieser Wohnung verbracht. Leider war der Aufenthalt nicht so erfreulich wie wir gehofft hatten. Die gesamte Wohnanlage (ca. 80. Wohnungen)wird von Grund auf saniert. Es verging kein Tag, am dem wir nicht mit dem Geräusch von Presslufthammer,Fliesenschneider oder Bohrmaschine geweckt wurden. Es wurden Wände eingeschlagen und Toilettenbecken rausgebrochen. Von 8 Uhr morgens bis 17 Uhr abends war Lärm und Dreck angesagt. Der gesamte Komplex gleicht einer Baustelle. Es gibt keine heilen Treppen, keine Geländer und keine Beleuchtung in den Gängen. Entgegen der Beschreibung gibt es keine Rezeption und auch keine Klimaanlage. Nur 2 Ventilatoren sind vorhanden. Da der Zustand der Anlage seit mindestens 2020 bekannt ist, finde ich es schon sehr unverschämt dies dem Mieter nicht im voraus mitzuteilen. Da die Fertigstellung der Bauarbeiten erst für den Februar geplant ist kann ich zukünftige Mieter nur warnen. Es ist mir auch unverständlich wie man mit einer Klimaanlage werben kann die es nicht gibt. Wenn die Anlage fertig saniert ist und eine Klimaanlage eingebaut wird, dann entspricht alles andere der Beschreibung. So wie es jetzt ist, konnte bei mir keine Urlaubsstimmung aufkommen.

Was fur leute seid irh ? Meine vermietung erfolet privât, ohne rezeptionnund ohne klimaalange (2 ventilatoren) in einem komplex der derzeit renoviert wird. Du wusstestbes von anfang an ! Es tut mir wirklich leid, dass irhe Zweig monate urlaub eine torture waren. Ich erinnere sie daran,bdass sie wussten, dass das gebaude renoviert wurd. Aus diesem grund hatten. Sie auf irhen wunsch hin einen wettbewerbsfahigen. Prise und eine ermaBigung aufnden aufen thalt. Sie haben es angenommen und gesagt, dass die wohnung trotz der arbeiten an d'en gemeinschaftstraume undbden nachbarwohnungen sehr gut sei. Tatsachlich haben sie dasgeld aud irhem urlaub zuruckbekommen und bereven un irhe Wahl obwolh sie zwie monate zeit hatten, einen ort zu finden, der besser geeignet gewe sen War !!

Nous avons passé 10 jours superbes sur cette île et cet appartement y a contribué. Son emplacement permet d’accéder rapidement aux grands axes routiers tout en étant dans un quartier calme et rapidement au centre ville à pied. L’appartement est propre et confortable et les trois terrasses ont une très jolie vue. Nous recommandons avec en plus un excellent rapport qualité/prix,

Super appartement, tres bien situé.
Appartement propre, tres bien équipé et bien agencé. Tres bien situé à l écart du bruit,proche de toutes commodités. L appartement est du bon côté de Puerto del Carmen, pres de tous les petits restaurants de poissons sympa ainsi que des bars. On avons pu nous y rendre à pieds a 5mn en longeant le port. De plus, la playa chica (magnifique plage pour le snorkeling) est à5/10min a pied. Que du bonheur ! Carol est une excellente hôte prête a vous aider si besoin. Petit bemol, l appartement aurait besoin d être équipé d une vraie climatisation. Ne vous fiez pas a l extérieur de la résidence qui est en travaux (qui ont l air d être arrêtés), l appartements est superbe avec ces 3 terrasses.

Un petit bijou !
Le charme opère immédiatement ! Lumineux, exposé (est et sud) de manière à profiter toute la journée du soleil sur les trois terrasses, chaleureux dans sa décoration, cet appartement ne présente aucun défaut. Rien ne manque en matière d'équipement, pas même les chaînes TV françaises au grand complet. Quel plaisir de pouvoir contempler l'océan de son lit, de farnienter sur les transats à la chaleur du matin ou de déjeuner à l'ombre de l'auvent principal ! Cet endroit est une perle rare...

Schöne Wohnung in einer Umbau- Umgebung
Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und bietet viel Komfort. Allerdings wird der Apartment- Komplex umgebaut, so dass die direkte Umgebung einen etwas desolaten Eindruck macht. Wenn man darüber hinweg sehen kann, entschädigen einen die Lage und der schöne Ausblick von den Terrassen.

Cet appartement est très confortable et bien aménagé. Ce que nous ignorions c'est qu'il se situait dans un site entièrement démoli. Nous nous sommes crus dans un site bombardé ! Escalier d'accès rempli de plâtre et de déchets, certains appart squattés par des familles de Rom et des soulards. Manque de sécurité le soir . Environnement digne d'Alep ( Syrie). Appartement à ne pas louer dans de telles conditions. !!! Attendre la finition des travaux.

En effet, désolée mais les travaux avaient pris du retard. Maintenant tout est terminé et le complexe est neuf. L'appartement a galement entièrement été refait pour ce qui est de la peinture, de l'électricité et de l'eau

Super séjour !
Ayant eu des problèmes avec des travaux imprévus dans la résidence où nous devions séjourner, Mme Carol Hapard, très attentive au bien-être de ses clients nous a proposé un échange d'appartement, appartement situé dans un autre quartier tout aussi agréable, calme, avec piscine. Nous n'avons qu'à nous louer de cet échange qui n'a, en aucun cas, altéré notre séjour très agréable et inoubliable pour nos 50 ans de mariage. Merci à elle pour son dévouement ! Dany et Claude

appartement dans résidence fantôme en travaux complets de rénovation!
A ce jour toute la résidence est en travaux. L'appartement est bien mais sans climatisation.La résidence sera bien mais lorsque les travaux seront finis!! un peu loin de la plage à pieds... Attention difficile de se garer vers les plages! Tous les autres appartements sont en train d'être refaits et il ne reste que les 4 murs! La piscine est en travaux, inaccessible et toute verte ( moustiques!!). Pas d'accueil, pas de bar;Des gravats partout.Des pancartes " Attention danger travaux"!!! Pas d'eau aux robinets à notre arrivée.Pas de lumière dans la résidence. Louer cet appartement actuellement est dangereux de part les travaux et il ne devrait pas être accessible à la location! Les travaux devraient encore durer un certain temps au vue de l'avancée des travaux au mois d'Août!! Nous avons demandé à être remboursés et sommes partis après la première nuit; ce qui a été accepté par la locataire. Malgré tout, cette mésaventure n'a pas été très agréable et on s'en serait bien passée pour nos vacances! Lorsque nous louons un appartement, nous louons l'appartement en lui-même certes mais aussi les avantages de la résidence! ( jolie résidence avec piscine, bar, billard!!!). Vraiment très déçue de ne pas avoir été prévenue de la situation...

Excellente semaine
Très belle semaine à Puerto del Carmel, appartement agréable, confortable et idéalement situé. Merci à Carol pour son souci du bien être de ses locataires et tous ses bons conseils de découvertes !! Ma fille de 8 ans et moi même avons beaucoup apprécié cette semaine douce, dépaysante et pleine d'activités. Nous sommes loin d'avoir tout fait, nous reviendrons !

Soggiorno di quasi due settimane molto bello. La proprietaria di casa è sempre stata molto gentile e disponibile(Tramite E-Mail), la casa molto molto carina, spaziosa, arredata bene, fornita di tutto quello di cui si può aver bisogno, Vista veramente molto bella sull'oceano, consigliato per rilassarsi con un bel bicchiere di vino. Per quanto riguarda la pulizia della casa: trovata molto sporca.

Nice and excellent equipped apartment with great terraces
The penthouse is in good condition, excellent equipped (kitchen, Flat-TV with sound bar and lot's of international channels inkl. german,...) and comfortable beds. It was very clean. There is ocean view from the terrace over the neighbour houses and sun till 4-5 pm. The middle terrace can be partly closed if it very windy, very useful. The apartment is located near the harbour, so you need no car at night to go for a drink or for dinner. We had some relaxing days here.

Prima, alles wat je nodig hebt was aanwezig.Terrassen zon en schaduw.
Appartement prima.Omgeving negatief, slordig, vieze trappen en gangen. Complex moet gerenoveerd worden. Zouden in de toekomst daar niet weer willen huren. Kunnen dit niet adviseren aan anderen. Lieme Fortuin

Thank you for your appreciation. As you say, the appartment is in good conditions, with everything that you need. About the complex, the renovation is previsionnal for this year, by changing the painting of swimming-pool, painting all the wals, changing the stairs, we just get new personal for the garden and the cleaning for all the complex...hope you come back next year to enjoy the rénovations...

A nice appartment situated at a good place on the island
We stayed in this appartment for a week in October with 2 adults and 2 teens. We really enjoyed the place. Everything you need it there (including a dishwasher!) and it was clean. The main terras is a great place to hang out in the evening (even if it is raining). A supermarket and some restaurants are in the nearby area. The main road to the South and North part of the island is easy to reach. A good appartment to stay if you are visiting Lanzarote :)
