Lovely villa in a quiet residential area, perfect size for the amount of people. Swimming pool was used numerous times daily, whilst at the villa we spent all our time outside. Would recommend and stay again.

Wonderful villa. Fantastic location!
What a great wee find! The whole villa seems to have had a makeover since the photos were taken as they dont do it justice! Booking, check-in and check out were all very simple. I would definitely recommend!

2 weeks of relaxation
The villa is in a quiet and private location not overlooked. It’s just a 5 minute walk to the supermarket and 15 minutes to the restaurants and bars. We would stay here again 10/10

Relaxing in Lanzarote
We have given our stay 5 stars. The villa was well equipped, the pool was amazing and the location was good. We had a maintenance issue which was put right really quickly. We would definitely return in the future.

Fabulous Villa
The pool was well maintained and lovely to cool down in on those hot sunny days. The villa is in a prime location near shops, restaurants and bars. The villa is very spacious and has everything you need for a home from home experience.

Villa Eric Puerto del Carmen
We have been going to Lanzarote for many years. This is the first time we have rented a villa. Perfect location for everything. Beautiful villa and Lynn was the best host. Even when the boiler leaked it was fixed and replaced the same day! The pool was a great hit with the family. The privacy the villa offered was excellent. The only thing I would add is some more mirrors in the bedrooms upstairs. I would definitely stay again and would not hesitate to recommend Villa Eric.

A great holiday,
Villa Eric is fantastic! A lovely place (much bigger than we expected) with everything you need. A brilliant outside space and pool area meant that I had to fish my boys out of the pool every day to actually leave and explore the area! Lovely balcony with a sea view and a nice place for drinks and a relax when the sun is going down. It's super close to the beach- an easy 10 minute walk and the lovely harbour area is around 15 minutes walk too. It was clean, cool and exactly what we needed to make it a great holiday. Highly reccomended.

Would go again!
The property was perfect for our family of 5, it was clean and very well equipped. Pool was a great size and accommodated our 3 boys (14, 7 & 4) so well. I got injured on the last night, tripping on a nearby road repair, and thankfully the information pack Lynn had left meant we knew exactly where to go for medical attention. The Villa could benefit from a few updates in places but purely cosmetic, it exceeded our expectations in relation to the pictures on vrbo with more than enough space for our family. It was well located, walking distance to Lidl and the PDC beach strip. Loads of choice for food, we walked to old town a few nights too. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! A fabulous holiday!

Amazing villa - perfect for a family holiday
We have just returned home from a wonderful holiday. The villa is spacious, comfortable and in a lovely quiet yet convenient location. The outdoor area is a great size and our children spent a lot of time in the pool (which was regularly cleaned). It is worth noting that the pool is 2 meters deep throughout which, although perfect for us, is something for parents of less confident swimmers to be aware of. Lynn was a fantastic host, responding quickly to our messages, facilitating an early check in and kindly offering to arrange a taxi to the airport. We certainly hope to return!

A perfect break after a long 2 years
Villa Eric was the perfect property to host our first holiday since covid, and having stayed in several villas in this part of PDC over the years, this was our favourite. It was homely but not cluttered. The inside space works really well for a family wanting time to themselves (at times) and the outdoor space is peaceful, private, spacious and the pool area has sunlight from dawn to dusk. Lyn was also a helpful host and it was kind for the offer of arranging a taxi back to the airport. We will definitely look to book Villa Eric again, although this review is likely to limit availability (foolishly!!).

Stayed for two weeks location perfect for everything you need close to the shops, restaurants and the beach. The villa is very spacious and allows for your own space when needed. The pool was cleaned regularly through the day and the pool cleaner was very friendly. The communication with Lyn was amazing she got back to us quickly about any questions we had. Lovely villa
We stayed here for a weeks holiday in July. The villa was lovely, can’t really fault anything. It was very clean and tidy and equipped with everything you would need and more. The pool and outside space is great for sunbathing and a quick dip to cool off. The villa is in great location just a five minute walk from Lidl and other shops and about a 10 minute walk to the fantastic beaches bars restaurants and shops. I would definitely return to this villa in the future.

the villa was just as described but given the price better than we expected. there was lots of room for 6 adults and the pool was lovely with plenty of room for loungers. we normally use apartments but this experience was far better we will certainly be back

Villa as described on the website. Very clean, very spacious. 10 minute walk to the main strip - 5-10 minutes to the local supermarkets on the main road. Beds in downstairs room very uncomfortable, could do with replacing. Plenty of kitchen utensils, crockery, glasses etc. Cooker hob a little old fashioned and very slow.

A lovely villa everything was as described From booking to payment everything was straight forward lyn provided us with quick email replies and clear instructions on how to get to the villa and gain access The villa itself has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday is large and clean and the pool area is a right sun trap but if you don’t book pool heating be prepared to catch your breath when you get in the pool it’s freezing lol The only thing i could minus points for is the location the area the villa is in is nice and quiet but it’s quite a walk down to sea front or old town ok going down just seems longer coming back lol

This was our 3rd year in a row to Puerto Del Carmen same week each year, always had amazing weather, and this year did not fail us 30 to 35 degrees every day. Previously we've always booked a package holiday, so this was our 1st time booking a Villa, Which we thought was so much better value and relaxed, we really loved the Villa 's location easy to get to around and it was great having it's own pool. Villa was well equipped and very comfortable. We would definitely rebook and recommend to our friends and family, Thank you so much

From enquiring about the villa availability to arriving on the day, all information is provided quickly and professionally. The property manager was quick to answer any query we had. The villa was beautiful inside and out. Had all home comforts you could need/want. Was very clean and tidy. The pool was cleaned before we arrived and during our week long stay, the pool is 2meters deep with no shallow area. There is also a handy welcome pack at the villa - taxi numbers, local amenities, emergency contact numbers etc. Villa location is in a quiet residential street close to local shops and a walkable distance to the beach, harbour and main strip of Peurto Del Carmen. That being said the neighbours were quite intimidating if we made noise past the 10pm noise curfew. Would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Great location fantastic Villa
The property was spacious great location for both new and old town. This is my 5th visit to the Ireland and the best property we have stayed in. Would just like to mention that the fan in the double room with the balcony wasn't working this wasn't an issue to us. And the toaster needed replacing. These are not criticism just wanted to inform you as you may not know. There were 5 adults staying and we had plenty of room. I would certainly recommend this to friends and family. Pool could do with a proper clean as there was leaves and black stuff at the bottom and blocking the filters at the bottom and the ants in the kitchen was a bit of a pest also the cleaners could do with dusting Living room units other than that it was a lovely stay and the owner is very nice we would stay again thankyou lyn

Great little villa in close proximity to everything
Villa Eric provided us with everything we needed, close to shops/supermarkets for provisions, it’s a close walk to town, although coming back requires a little stroll up a hill, nothing too bad though. It’s in an ideal location, the villa was clean & tidy with good spacious rooms, the pool is 2m deep for non swimmers, cannot thank Lyn enough for the use of villa Eric, highly recommend and would use again.

Lovely Stay
Bit of a hike up the hill from the centre, but nothing that bad. Villa is just perfect, with a bit downstairs that another couple can close the door and basically be in their own bit of the house. Pool is great, and as is usual a bit cool getting in, but once in is lovely. Could benefit from a shallow end though as Theres no where to stand up at all in the water, but great for just floating on a lilo. Great kitchen with all cutlery, cups, glasses etc. Fans in every room for cooler air, and the place was spotless. Great supermarket along the road, with a good Lidl just up from it. Can't fault this place at all... (pool could do with a shallow end)….you'll love it

Clean ideal for what we needed
Lovely spacious villa fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. 2 adults,2 teenagers,2 under 10 great for all. Pool is deep but common sense prevails if you have non swimmers. Villa is in walking distance of the main strip. Close to taxis bus route if don't have car hire Will definitely look at booking again in the future. We loved it :)

Fantastic Villa in a Fantastic Location
this is the 2nd time I have stayed in this lovely lovely Villa, we enjoyed it that much that we have booked for a 3rd time for next year. The villa is clean and very well looked after, it is literally home from home and has everything that you need. The pool area was fab and the outdoor space was more than enough for 6 of us. the location is very very good, just a 10 min walk to the strip, however there are bar and restuarants nearer to the villia. The best thing about the location is that it is a 5 min walk to the nearest Lidl which was great for doing a shop, plus the villa had a shopping trolley so fab for bringing shopping back. Correspondence with the owner Lyn is always good and she always replies very quickly. I cant recommend this villa enough we love it and I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Perfect
This was the first time we had stayed nearer the Old Town end - so location was ideal for distance from beach and the Old Town. Villa located in a cul-de-sac - so lovely and quiet day and night. The bedrooms are wonderfully dark at night (shutters/black out curtains) - another bonus for good night's sleep - not all places we've stayed have had this. There is some very minor refurbishing to a property to back of Villa but the workers are quiet, considerate and we barely noticed their presence. Pleasant surprise - the sea view from main bedroom balcony. Beds comfortable and the first accommodation in awhile with decent pillows. A Pool Man lets himself in alternate days so pool was clean, but deep all round so possibly not a villa suitable for young children. Proximity to a large Lidl was brilliant for buying provisions. For first timers here - taxi to airport is about 15 euros but the bus stop (nearby) is just over 1 euro! So we taxied from the airport and bussed back. We no longer use a pre-booked transfer. Friday Market in Puerto Del Carmen was on this time - but check as it gets cancelled for festivals (there are a few). The market is small but worth a look.

Well appointed and equipped villa
Really enjoyable stay at villa Eric. Only 5minute walk to the shops and 10 minutes walk to the beach. The pool was very clean the guy came about 4times over the 2weeks we were there. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice and quite night and day. We all agreed we would be coming back next year one of our best holidays.

Looks good but very disappointing!
The villa was hugely disappointing. On a positive note, the only one, it is well located close to Lidl, Hiperdino, & seafront bars, restaurants, etc. As to the villa itself, well it's very dated. The kitchen has plenty of utensils pots etc, although only two wall sockets.The bedrooms are reasonably sized, although the bed covers are basic and no attention to aesthetics. The bathrooms need new bath mats, shower curtains, toilet brushes etc The water pressure is low (an issue from 2015), & the quantity of hot water allows only two showers back to back . The TV is German satellite only, no BBC, ITV, etc. The pool heating system does not perform, it was shockingly cold, the pool cover did not work, apparently the parts required for it to be rolled out were stuck in customs? The electricity trips occasionally. Concerns re electricity were responded to quickly. When you're paying a considerable sum to rent the villa for 4 weeks, you do not expect to pay extra for sun bed cushions. There was no welcome pack when we arrived late in the evening so we had to go shopping for basics. No information pack either.

Unfortunately this review is out of sync with general views on this villa . The reviewer was requested to review his comments but has refused to. There is nowhere on this web page that the villa has a welcome pack included , but it is possible to book one for a fee . The pool as he knew was only sola r heated and therefore will bring temperature on a sunny day to about 2 degrees more than normal. But during this guest stay the island experienced the worst weather in 40 years ... well documented 27 days rain in a row. therefore no sun for the solar!!. The tv along with a combination of Germans channels aa we do cater for international guests also has a limited uk channels. The review unfortunaly is a combination of not being the villa the guests wanted, Not raising any issues in resort and not highlighting background information about having the worst weather in 40 years. We encourage guests in the interest of fair play to please contact in resort if there are issues. Delete repeated word please also to give a full explanation so that future guest have the whole picture.

A great villa in a good location
This was our second time at Villa Eric. We had a fabulous two weeks with friends. The positives for us were: * Spacious Villa with separate accomodation (ground and 1st Floor) for couples wishing to holiday together * The location is good. Minutes away from bars, restaurants, Lidl’s and other local supermarkets. Equal distance from the old town and the strip (5-10 min walk downhill ) * the pool is heated and cleaned regularly. * the Villa is well equipped, especially the kitchen. * the Wifi works well. If I could make any improvements... some of the bed linen needs replacing. There is no lead for the DVD which wouldn’t be a problem for most people. We will definately be returning

Good location, excellent villa
Just returned from Villa Eric, had an excellent time, pool area is fab but pool is deep but that wasn't a problem for us, had all facilities you need and only a five minute walk to supermarket and ten minute walk to the old & new town. Would recommend this villa to anyone wanting to stay in Puerto Del Carmen.

Good location, spacious and enjoyable
The villa is in a decent location about 10-15 minute walk to the beach. The way back is uphill so young kids may need a buggy/taxi! The villa is clean spacious and has all you need in terms of fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, towels and hairdryer. The BBQ is great to use and there is a Lidl 5 minutes away for all your supplies. The only reason I haven't given it 5 star is two-fold :- 1. The pool is 2m deep which makes it impossible to solar heat, it was way too cold. We had 25-30 degree weather and I struggled, and usually I'm ok in most pools. Perhaps in the summer it would be ok but outside of that it cannot cope. 2. The villa is semi-detached and the walls are paper thin. You can literally hear every conversation and bang and crash from next door. On the first night we had some music on and had to apologise to the neighbours, which was fair enough. But each day we were awoken by next door and their children at 7/7.30am. Not their fault, and I believe they may live there, but if you are a light sleeper you will be woken up. Other than that we had a great time. The villa next door (the other side) is having some building work done which was pretty Loud many days, but I think it's nearly finished. In the summer this would be a great villa to stay at.

Thank you David and we are delighted you enjoyed the villa. Yes the location and the surrounding villas are also geared up for holiday makers. So there will always be improvments happening and activity in the daytime.

Excellent Villa
Just returned from Villa Eric in Puerto Del Carmen, Lanzarote after a lovely 10 day holiday. Excellent weather so were able to fully appreciate the outside area which has a lovely pool, barbie, and outside under cover dining area for six people. Also south facing so gets the sun all day long. Inside you have an very well equipped kitchen with all the utensils you need for self catering; oven, hob, microwave etc. It is located about ten minutes walk from the main strip and also five minutes from Lidl and other supermarkets. (The choice of fish in Lidl is tremendous.....plus wine and beer at one quarter of UK prices!!) The villa is nicely laid out and has an upstairs balcony off the double bedroom, also a sun room for extra privacy should you require it. It has two bathrooms so no waiting around when you need it. Our one criticism is that there was no information folder about the villa. For example, the villa has a burglar alarm but no information about how to activate the thing. I needed the services of the local hospital during my stay and had to go to the neighbours to find out where it was etc. This should be readily available in the villa, plus perhaps recommendations for things to do and see locally. This did not detract from what was a fine holiday and we would certainly return and recommend it for families or groups of up to six persons.

Nice stay with problems
We enjoyed our 3 weeks stay in Villa Eric in November/December! The house is superbly located, clean, and a short distance to the beach and to the good restaurants in the old village. It is also well equipped, and has a great terrace with a nice pool that was serviced twice a week by a very nice guy. The Wi-Fi was good, helping us to keep in contact with Norwegian news services. We had some problems, the biggest was the lack of adequate water pressure. We decided to sleep upstairs because of the bathroom there that had a bidét, and were disappointed when we found that the water pressure in the room was very low. Almost no hot water. The hot water tap in the kitchen was also of little use. We complained, and the servicemen came promply, and put in a new pump, but after a day it stopped giving pressure and we had to start it manually. The third day the nice serviceman (Sergio?), turned it off and we returned to the original bad pressure. We decided to leave it at that and accept the situation. Some of days later the washing machine broke, but after an effort by Sergio, we had it functioning in a couple of days. Then there was a failure in the electricity in the kitchen, and we lost all power in the house while Sergio did a great job fixing burned wiring in the fuse box. The day before we were leaving the water heater started leaking. We phoned the service number, and when it did not answer (at 5.30 pm), we tried the emergency number with similar result. As the leak increased rapidly, we were afraid it would flood the whole house, but managed to locate the main tap and close it. For the rest of our stay we just opened the tap in short intervals when we needed water, putting a bucket under the tank. We phoned the service number the next day and reported the problem, but agreed to leave it until after we had gone. We also told the serviceman that the pool was cold, and he said that the solar heating was not open but he would open it. Anyway I think that was what he said, my Spanish is about at halting as his English. The water got a little better, but that could of course be thanks to a bit warmer weather. Anyway, this was not a big problem at all. When we left we left the key on the key hanger just inside the door, By the fuse box. Thanks anyway for 3 relaxing weeks in spite of the problems. It is a wonderful place to stay. We could very well consider going back to Villa Eric, but then hoping with lesser problems. Ståle and Sissel

Nettes ruhiges sauberes Haus
Waren mit der Familie über Weihnachten - Neujahr im Haus. Gute Küche mit allen Utensilien die man braucht. Nettes gemütliches Wohnzimmer, bei TV u Multimedia gibt’s noch aufholbedarf. Ruhig Schlafzimmer, zweckmäßige Badezimmer. Raumgrößen ok. Wirklich großartig ist der kleine Vorgarten mit den wunderschönen Kakteen. Der Pool, super sauber und relativ frisch – Viking manner.
