"Room clean but dated, no walk in shower you need to climb in the bath. No individual toiletries, .Breakfast buffet reasonable. Restaurant/cafeteria are very good and food is reasonably priced. Parking is underground using a car lift. Very handy location for shops and bars lots nearby. Reception staff could be a little more friendly perhaps but no big deal. "
"I had a very disappointing experience.
I specifically booked and paid an additional €25 for an upgraded room, but upon arrival, I was given a standard room with separate beds—the most basic option listed on Expedia. This was already frustrating, as it did not match what I had paid for.
The situation became worse with the air conditioning, which was not functioning properly. Instead of cooling the room, it was mostly blowing hot air, making the environment very uncomfortable. As a result, I had no choice but to open the window.
The hotel is located in a very central area(this is why I choose it), with a bar and restaurant nearby. Since it was a Friday night, the noise levels were extremely high, and I was unable to rest at all.
Additionally, the overall maintenance condition of the hotel is far below the NH standard I am accustomed to, which made the experience even more disappointing.
I was only stopping over while traveling by car, hoping for a good night’s rest, but this turned into a complete nightmare. Overall, this experience fell far below expectations and was very disappointing."
"Unfortunately, it lacks a few basic amenities that are crucial for any traveler. The rooms don't have fridge nor mini bar, no phones, the hotel has no restaurant or cafeteria, the staff leaves at 11pm and comes back in the morning, no shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms. They provide you with one bottle of water for the entire night. Good help you if you have a medical emergency or a stomach ache.
Having said this, the staff tries really hard...maybe too hard! I received a call at my cellphone in the middle of siesta just to see: "Is everything alright?".
To be honest it felt like they were trying to force me into giving them a high score: "Please do rate us at 10 because we are trying to increase our score" were the last word we heard from the staff."
"The hotel entrance is round the corner from the cafe where we went in, but the waiter quickly pointed us in the right direction. Staff were great and very helpful. Breakfast in the adjoining cafe was excellent with delicious tortillas. We also used the cafe fir a snack the evening before and again the tortilla we chose was excellent. Good value and in a convenient location."
"Have stayed in this hotel many times over the last few years. The location is perfect just a short walk to the main area of Sardinero and the beach. The food is amazing. Having tried most restaurants in the area, this is by far the best food. Rooms are very clean. My one criticism is that the rooms are a bit plain and outdated, especially the bathrooms. Nevertheless a very nice place to stay if visiting Santander"
