"Was so happy with our choice of staying at villa mexicana! The property was well looked after, rooms were clean, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Being right on the beach was amazing, listening to the waves crashing on the pristine beach at night was the best way to fall asleep. Many of the guests we met are repeat visitors - which speaks highly for villa mexicana - location is perfect - many choices for eating within walking distance and hotel had great food. Beach was fabulous and ocean waves were okay to play in. Will be back for sure!"

"This was my third time here and I really love it. It is a small resort on the most beautiful stretch of beach imaginable. Tha staff are very helpful and seem genuine. It is relaxed but with every attention to detail It is the perfect place to come and appreciate the beauty of the region and the luxury of the hotel"

"The house itself is very nice; the photos depict it as it is. Beds were comfortable, weekly cleaning was provided and the local manager was excellent--very responsive to questions.The little pool was very nice for cooling off at the end of the day. But the beach, while beautiful, had crashing surf. Not swim-able, especially for kids. Also, this location is noisy, between the road traffic and airplane takeoffs. Finally, this property is very isolated. It's not a neighborhood. There's one little store about two blocks away, and one excellent restaurant right next door, but otherwise not much. Luckily a combi passes by about every 15 minutes for easy transport to airport and Zihua Centro. "
