"It is a nice old style Hotel in San Rafael. It has a nice restaurant. It is walking distance to a convenience store and other restaurants downtown. The rooms were very well maintained. There is a nice balcony you can see the city. It is like an old house."

"We loved our stay at the BW in Corte Madera CA. Our room was immaculate, and cleaned daily, a very comfortable bed added to the restful stay. The grounds were lovely, great heated large swimming pool, plus very comfortable cushioned chairs, and lounges. Most importantly the management and a wonderful staff, great people!! My only suggestion would be to eliminate the morning blaring news on the TV in the dining hall where a wonderful full complementary breakfast is served. Breakfast should be calm and peaceful letting families enjoy conversation with each other and not have to compete with a loud, distracting news show!! We would love to come back!! Tom Maloney"

"Lovely place to stay, very comfortable and well equipped. Very small fridge, which I didn't notice in the photos but it was still large enough to get by for a week's stay. I sleep with ear plugs, so any fridge compressor noise was not an issue but I would recommen"

"One of those places that was so good you almost don’t want to review it, and just keep it a secret. But Melodie was such a good host, (she left really good cookies from a local bakery!), and our stay was so fun, I will leave a 5star review. Best pool ever! Perfect size and temperature with a great view, great chairs and loungers, pool toys, everything you could want. It’s also completely private -the pool is set down the slope from the main house, and just a very short walk to the casita, which also enjoys almost complete privacy as well. Will definitely try to book again!"
