Tina greeted me at the front desk and made me feel right at home. She is a model of hospitality and should be training all new folks. Room was as promised with a king bed and a nice desk. A power strip of some kind would be a nice upgrade for the desk area. This hotel is in the same parking lot as a restaurant and walking distance to a gas station. Also, it is conveniently located very close to an exit on the 10 freeway. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful.

When I walk in the Gal in the front desk was so lovely and very helpful sweet as ever The bed was absolutely wonderful since I have a bad back I sleep like a champ.. The place was very clean.. I would definitely stay here again as I travel back to Texas!!!

Enjoyed the breakfast. Our first room smelled like a dog had been living in it. But the staff changed our room and the second one was fine. The carpet needs replacing in the hallways as it was dirty.

The hotel is quiet, conveniently located near I-10, and relatively inexpensive. The carpets in the rooms are clean but used, as are the fixtures in the bathroom. The beds are comfortable if a bit soft for my taste. The A/C in our room was a bit noisy at first due to the metal case vibrating, but when I pushed on it, the noise went away and didn't come back. Like most places that include breakfast, it's fairly simple...waffles, toast, bagels, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, coffee. But right next door is a Cracker Barrel, and also a Maverik gas station / convenience store that has 9 kinds of coffee that was really good and lots of goodies. We had a pleasant stay.

Thank goodness for La Quinta! I was in the middle of a cross-country move, and this was such a good landing place for a night. They were accommodating of my need for a first-floor room, there was a large luggage cart available, and I really appreciated the check-out time of 12pm.
