"Great hot tub"

"This terrible review is no reflection on Expedia, but on the property and its management. When I went to retrieve my ID for check-in, I realized that it had not been returned to me when I rented my car. Unfortunately, it was a Sunday evening and I was two states away from the car rental place, so there was no way I could contact them. The hotel would not let me stay there, they would not accept a picture of my drivers license. They said I had to have physical ID, I had multiple credit cards a Costco card with my picture on it, my checkbook, etc., so that I could prove who I was but they wouldn’t accept any of it. I was traveling with my three girls and had no place to stay with them at that point, our only option was to stay in the car. I have stayed at Hampton Inn and other Hilton properties, and am a Hilton honors rewards member so they also have me in their system, but that didn’t matter, they would not make any exceptions. They would not refund the cost of the room, and Expedia tried on my behalf to get them to at least refund that money, and they would not."

"The check-in process was smooth and the room was as expected for this age of a property. The pool looks decent although we did not use it. The location is convenient for accessing good resturants."

"Intense cigarette/ashtray smell in the room, toilet did not flush properly, TV remote didn't work and the office had to be locked at all hours due to unsafe neighborhood."
