Accessibility to the monorail was great. Old hotel, but renovated in some areas. Not much dining options in the evening. But still a decent place to stay.

We had a great weekend celebrating my husband’s 45th Birthday. Everything we needed was right in the hotel, we really didn’t need to leave for anything.

I stayed for 2 nights at westgate. On the first night we arrived at around 11pm for check in. We were served by a male staff (in his 30-40s) at the front desk. We originally reserved for the signature room with a king size bed but instead we were told that the bed is queen size instead. Having had a long drive we were too tired to argue. The room is far from just a change of the queen size bed- the “bed” was in fact a old couch convertible bed. With springs poking out to our backs, making squeaking noises with every move. The room itself was also not the signature room we reserved for. But a not completely furnished studio with furnitures scatter across the room. The original two sets of blanket that i requested for were NOT prepared. We were also told that “theres nothing that can be done” and “just come back to the front desk tomorrow after noon ,and if we have an open room you can switch” In retrospect i found it inappropriate and deceiving for this middle age male staff to arrange our reservation this way. I called the front desk the next day at 8am and the other staff immediately made the switch for me, which could have been done the night before when I checked in. I am throughly disappointed at the service received on my first night because the rest of the time the services and staffs seem to be appropriate. Unfortunately it would be the last time Im staying at Westgate due to the inconsistency of quality of services provided.

The resort itself is nice with a lot of amenities however I personally didn’t enjoy the property outside of a place to sleep due to constant solicitation to either buy or up sell. At check in, I was told the room I booked didn’t have a shower only a bathtub, although it advertised a shower, but I could pay $25 more a night to have a room that included a shower. From that point on every amenity came with an upsell or 90 minute tour, you could not walk the resort without being constantly solicited to upgrade or do a tour. I decided to spend my time off resort property so I could enjoy my vacation. Basically more time is spent try to soliciting customers then make sure their stay is comfortable.

Right on the monorail so I could park my car and use it to get around town. Didn’t even have to leave the hotel unless we wanted to because there were some many things inside the hotel. We were there for a concert. Took use 10 mins to walk to get to!

Was told there was no king bed available even though I had booked a king but was told if I wanted to pay 40$ more a day I could have a renovated room that had a king. Stupid that I book a room months in advance and its not available when I get there. I decided to go for the “Recently renovated” room so that me and my wife can sleep in the same bed and was very disappointed in the quality of the room. Not only was it painfully obvious that the appliances in the room had clearly been there for years but the bathroom had no vent for steam from the shower and the fixtures had caked on calcium deposits and the shower itself had a few tiles missing. The room also smelled like smoke upon arrival. Needed to add an extra day to our stay and was literally told by the front desk it would be cheaper to book third party. Ridiculous that you would send your customers to a different website instead of just offering a better price. Ending up staying at another hotel our last night and it was much nicer and did not have to deal with getting harassed by staff about where I was going for breakfast every time I reenter the building.

Checked into the hotel after a long travel day to be told the hotel was overbook and no room was available for us. We were moved to another hotel with a full size bed and sofa bed for 4 adults. When our original room was 2 queen beds. We are not happy at all for the inconvenience. Nor the property or expedia were helpful with anything to make us happy.

Decent place to stay, we stayed in one of the older rooms and it was obvious by the corrosion on the plumbing, but it wasn't expensive and was conveniently located and in walking distance to the convention center. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The person who work there did not inform us anything about the services you provide, for example scheduled restaurants, the pool was closed and in other hotels they were open and with parties the attention of the desk was not good when we arrived the person who attended us was sleepy and was not friendly when we arrived at check in We felt alone in this beautiful hotel.

The resort was fine. I came in for a concert so I didn’t stay at my normal more luxury hotel. But it was “ok”. Food is “ok”. Not sure why the pool attendants can’t share tabs so you need to open a new tab with whom ever is taking your order which is annoying. No chair governing so a lot of pool chairs are “taken”. It’s an inexpensive getaway and exactly just that.

Perfect place to stay if you’re going to the festival grounds or convention center. AMPM across the street, cheap food around the corner so you don’t get sucked into expensive overpriced basics on the strip.

Wow! What a good time. Started it off right when a staff member notice my mom had some mobility issues and took us out of the long check in line, right to the desk. Amazing Italian dinner, right onsite. Top it off with the most incredible band, Rock Roulette playing on stage at the main bar. Westgate do yoursrlf a favor and have this band playing all the time. Talented and so much fun with the crowd. We had a great time interacting with them and dancing for hours. Ine of my best Vegas trips.

Super easy acess for Monorail made it very easy to visit many areas of the strip. Room was OK, safe did not work nor did the temperature control, it wasn't hot, but just not adjustable.

Was here Thursday-Wednesday. Did not see housekeeping Monday or Tuesday. Had to call for towel service Tuesday night. When you have multiple conferences at the same time you should have all of your elevators operational at the same time. Elevator waits were at least 15-20 for 4/6 days we were there. Also, no late check out option. Las Vegas, of all places should have this option.

They gave me a room that was overdue for being updated. Like the desk was worn out and damaged. My first room is smell like rotten eggs I asked to switch the room they did that for me. It was a little bit better. But I didn’t like the fact that there was no coffee maker, my first day there was no shampoo and conditioner in the bathtub The worst part was there was no lamp in between the two beds on the nightstand, and I couldn’t even plug-in my plugs to charge my phone, my watch and AirPods. The lamp in the corner wasn’t even turning on because it was not plugged in and the power bar wasn’t working properly it was very disappointed. 😔

Unfriendly staff. I booked through Expedia, they did not want to honor the room I had booked stating that when you book through Expedia for them it is only a “suggestion” of the room type. Second, it is a very old property and it shows. The lobby, the restaurants have seen better times. If you want to visit the Convention Center, it has a convinient location, if not, it is far away from everything and not in a pretty area.

Elevators on the property were a disaster to get to your room or to get to lobby. We booked thru Expedia and they charged us resort fees 45.00 a day, this should have been included in our charges when we booked the room.

I was a little disappointed with the lack of cleanliness of my room. When I checked into my room, there was food left in the refrigerator from the previous people who were in the room before me. Also, the shower had very low water pressure & the water never got warmer then tepid. I had to turn on the heater to warm up after my shower.
