Great Little Motel in the "little' Las Vegas
The Palomino is an older facility, but the rooms have been modernized and are quite clean and comfortable. I saw the high reviews, but still had some doubts. Don't. It is every bit as nice as the reviews say it is.

First of all, I was disappointed because there was no breakfast served. They never have coffee. That’s the least they can offer is some good coffee with some good cream. I couldn’t even make any coffee in the room. The conditions need to be improved quite a bit. I ran out of tissue paper, they should have shampoos and conditioners in all the hotels in our days. Why would one drop of conditioner and shampoo cost if they put it on the wall nothing better than dealing with all that plastic throwing it away to the landfills it is not Eco friendly the beds were very nice and comfortable. Thank you for that .

This hotel has good reviews and we just needed a quick place to sleep on the way to Colorado. Didn’t arrive at hotel until 1:45 am so had to ring the bell for service. Staff person took my credit card and swiped for payment and then requested my ID and then hid behind the computer to enter into my credit card number sneakily. When I asked what she was doing, she smirked and didn’t say anything. I asked for my cards back and I was worried she just stole my credit card info. It was shady to say the least! I I emailed the hotel manager and he said that she was collecting my info for incidentals and if so, why didn’t she say that? Next morning prior to check out she knocked at our door and at the same time used her key to enter while I was in the bathroom. Didn’t feel very safe but overall room was very clean and nice.

We were greeted by a lovely lady who checked us in, despite it being close to 9 PM. The bed was very comfy and the shower had excellent water pressure. Our room had a desk for working and was large enough that we didn't feel boxed in. We would definitely stay again!

Overall Moderately Good experience. Staff was good. (Gave wrong info on restaurant availability as it was closed on Saturdays). Noisy traffic noise until about 11 pm then very quiet during rest of the night. Room clean and beds comfortable. Room heater/AC defective. Tried to have constant fan to no avail and heat thermostat not accurate as would go from hot to cold. No Breakfast provided. Might stay again

Clean - n - Comfy
While a few updates may be in order around the corner, the motel room was clean and comfortable. There’s no breakfast so had to make coffee in the room and was supplied an extra coffee pouch. The Palomino is pretty much what you’d expect from a quintessential Ma-n-Pa economy motel. We also enjoyed a trip to the Montezuma hot spring just a few minutes west of town for a nice dip on a crisp morning. Neat place.

Filthy and smelled
Maybe just bad luck but our room and stay was by far the worst we have had in the 6 weeks we've been touring the US. Our room was filthy in multiple ways as the pictures will show. Dried up loogie on the curtains, stains on both bed comforters, broken furniture, exhaust fan so filthy that it could almost walk away on its own, dirty doors and a couch I dare not sit on. Management/front desk knocked on our door at 11pm and woke us for whatever reason. Such a heavy accent, we couldn't even understand what he was saying. I almost came to the door in full Monty and throat chopped him but ignored it and went back to much needed sleep. Never could I recommend or return to this poor excuse for an accomodation. I'm being kind with a 2 star. This app would not allow to upload photos. See my google review for pics of what was described.
