"I chose to stay despite an emergency power outage and was pleased the host was agreeable, as some would not be. I brought extra preparations for the stay and had a comfortable night. I was pleased to see that if I had needed to cook (I was as in town for a dinner), there was a propane bbq on the patio, equipped with propane tanks and utensils! Also, the bed was very comfortable and extra props to the host for the pillow choice. I slept better than I do in my own bed! Thanks again! "

"Beautiful lodge very outdoorsy and rustic there was room for all and the hot tub was clean and so relaxing in the cold winter breeze the property was secluded and lovely we very much enjoyed our stay "

"It was my first time in Idaho and honestly prior to planning the trip I was fairly confident that Idaho was not a state I would visit. However, I was so incredibly wrong!! If you’re traveling to the Couer d’Alene are and are looking for a place out of the city, look no further! The host, Kim, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating.As two young women staying alone I was understandably a little nervous about staying in what appeared to be the middle of nowhere. Upon arriving, my best friend and I both felt at ease knowing that there are neighbors relatively nearby and that there are window coverings for the glass door and windows. The host was kind enough to provide a binder with instructions as well as local contacts in case of an emergency. PS they do have a large pup on site and he/she seems to be head of security and they deserve a raise!! The high ceilings and open floor plan of the home was a manifestation of my Pinterest board. The host’s effort and attention to detail exceeded all expectations. There is the cutest produce stand out front with eggs, veggies, and jam which is definitely worth checking out even if you’re just driving by. The location is phenomenal just a short drive off the main highway and only minutes from the lake. The views of the open fields and mountains are unmatched! If I ever find myself back in Idaho I will 1000% be staying here again!"

"The view was very nice. The home reeks of a smell similar to moth balls. It’s very strong. The ground around the outdoor fire pit is not level and not safe. I do not recommend this home to rent. "
