"The hosts sent a message the night before with all the information needed to arrive to our destination easily! The unit was so unique, overlooking the water with the sheep / horse farm behind the property. The compact kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The blackout curtains let in some light but overall did a great job at blocking most! We would highly recommend anyone looking for a quiet stay near Hvammstangi."

"We booked a last-minute stay and we were very impressed with the facility, especially for the low price. The bunks were comfortable, bathrooms plentiful, and kitchen well stocked. Parking is right out front. Truly a great place!"

"We did not realize that this hotel was not in fact in Hvammstangi, but rather a 30 minute drive on a dirt road. However, the location was really beautiful, with horses in the pasture next door, and water views. We had a room with a private bath. We ate dinner in Hvammstangi proper (the restaurant above the Seal Museum), and then drove to the hotel and had late check in at 9:30pm. Breakfast was solid. The room was sparse, but adequate. We just needed a place to sleep, shower, and get breakfast, and this placed sufficed."

"This is a nice place, plenty of space for a family of 4, but bring your own toiletries and go shopping at the market for breakfast. There are just enough towels so plan to do laundry. It's a very convenient walk down to the harbor restaurant."

"Great property and nice and cozy. The sink was a bit small. The view is gorgeous! It is abit out of town, but i like it. There are 4 properties and 1 is occupied by the owner? He is a nice person who came out to greet us on arrive even though we arrived at 7PM. There is a kitchen area and sink with pots and pan if you like to cook your own food there. Just know there is nothing nearby for about 10 miles. Worth the cost and stay."

"Very clean. We bought food the previous day and stored it in one of the two refrigerators and ate our breakfast in the kitchen. Dishes and utensils were laid out ready for use and the coffee was a nice bonus. Rooms were nice and spacious, only note is that the shower took a long time to heat up and then was a little difficult to find the right temperature."

"The facility was spotless very new. Well maintained the email with the check-in information was quite good and painless. It was wonderful wonderfully rural about a kilometer kilometer and a half to petrol and nearest place to get any food coffee or supplies overall very good."
