"Romantic and relaxing with great views of the jungle and ocean. Room could use a little TLC with things like a broken soap dish in the shower, but we are an active outdoor couple and don't need grand comfort. You are in the tropical jungle so expect bugs. The voice of the jungle speaks at night. As we are active travelers we spent much time exploring the island and scuba diving , then would come back to our room to cool off in the pool and relax with the million dollar view! You are remote so a rental car or a driver is a must. We only ate dinner at the Lodge the first night there, my wife had the chicken and I had the fish and they were delicious! As they prep each meal that day, you must in form the Lodge of reservations for your meals, we were alway out and about so never knew when we would be back we didn't eat there m. We constantly ate were ever we might be or used the well stocked kitchen to prepair our own meals. The staff are some of the nicest and helpful people we have met. The Villa is about a 1 hour drive from St. George and the roads are small and wind through the mountains. If you are not an adventurous driver or passenger you may feel like you are on the roller coaster ride of your life. If you get lost or like we did get stuck in one of the many roadside ditches the locals are friendly and willing to help you in a moment! Enjoyed our time here and were sad when it came time to pack our bags and close the door one last time behind us! Thanks for the memories!"

"The family and property grounds was lovely with a stunning view but there was several things that was wrong one was being told there’s was no spare key due to last visitors not returning them on the 3rd day General feed back: Lodge needs AC as having a fan only doesn’t help with summer heat. Lights needed from the main road to the property grounds as there’s none, using phone light can be scary for those not driving. There’s no Bar/Lounge Room was not cleaned on a daily basis which need to be done. WiFi needs upgraded as kept dropping and took hours to be reconnected not ideal for those using what’s app to make calls. Ants outside lodge door and kitchen. Although I paid for 2 people for a two week stay with breakfast, I didn’t complain I left after a week as I kept getting bitten by mosquitos and due to the above feedback. I would say as I work in travel if these things improve then the property would flourish extremely. My feedback isn’t to dishearten the property owners but to give feedback as other people who stayed there felt the same. "

"We were lucky enough to spend four weeks at this wonderful home. If you are looking for a place outside of the main tourist area that is spacious, private and has a beautiful view this is it. We spent most of our time outside on the terrace or in the pool enjoying the view. It overlooks lovely La Sagesse beach, where you can have a lovely meal, rent a lounge chair for the day or just put a towel down and enjoy. You will need a car and will probably want to do your main grocery shopping in the Grand Anse/St George area. You can buy fresh fruits and vegetables at roadside stands but the smaller, local stores selection is limited. The house is very well set up with an open, airy living area on one floor and sliders that open onto the veranda. We always left these open when we were home, allowing indoor/outdoor living and the wonderful breeze to blow through.The bedrooms are large, had plenty of closet space and each had an en suite bathroom, along with three of them having sliders out to the upstairs veranda. I like a firm mattress but we found the beds to be very hard. Nigel, the owner, and Pearl, the manager, were both easily reached and responded quickly to any questions or needs we had. When I let Pearl know there wasn’t a usable frying pan nor a grill she arrived the next day with a set of frying pans and a new gas grill. They can’t fix or replace things if they don’t know about it. The only negative was not being told about the loud construction noise ahead of time. "
