"The pool bar and waiters were understaffed. The manager at the front desk and the concierge were helpful. We stayed in a privately owned condo. It was very run down. The renal beach chairs are in bad shape. Get to the pool early if you want a chair. Our lunch at the Land Shark was good. "

"The Sand Rose BR was well situated, clean and the staff was very helpful, accommodating and friendly. The included breakfast was very good ( they also have a Starbucks in the main lobby) and the Ola beach / poolside cafe has very good food / happy hour ! My only negative is the quality of their bed pillows… old , lumpy hard and small ! If like me you value a good comfortable rest after a full day of beach and outdoor activities, then you will value the quality of your pillows !! Anyway, besides this hiccup, I will recommend this Resort for a good family weekend! "

"First of all it was 10:30 am and they had nothing to drink but water and coffee breakfast they didn’t have plain egg or bacon on the side and they didn’t mention they were charging for parking permit until I got my receipt when checking out I noticed the charge. Also housekeeping never answered phone. There was no extra covers or pillows for the sofa bed . Over all rooms were clean "

"Disgusting hotel Bedspreads had stains 1.5 pillows per bed and they were flat I asked for more and was told I had to be back before the maids left to see if they could even exchange my pillows and bedspreads. We were on the way to an event could not return to room. I asked if they could grab 2 pillows and hold on lobby till I got back and was told no that’s not how it works. Never have I been treated like this at a motel. Motel room was dirty and everything was old mismatched, paint peeling off, spiders in the room. Please don’t waste your money at this motel 6 Motel 6 NORTH BROWNSVILLE. The other Motel 6 is nice but had no rooms ALSO, WHILE I WAS CHECKING IN ANOTHER COUPLE CHECKED IN, AND THEY LITERALLY CHARGED THEM DOUBLE THE PRICE OF THE ROOM I PAID FOR FOR THE EXACT SAME ROOM THAT’S RIDICULOUS DO NOT RECOMMEND "

"Went to get my card for my room (on the 3rd floor) key didn’t work so i had to go down again to talk to the employee. his attitude was okay. then we walked in the room. it was a mess. had to go down again and turns out he gave us the wrong room and had a bad attitude as well. the new room was bad. there was a roach in the bath tub. this made me disgusted. never booking here again."

"Our stay was ok for the night, thought a bit in the pricey side for not having breakfast or basic hotel hygiene like toothbrush and no trash bags nor can. Also the floors could be cleaner, left with the bottom of my socks black. Sheets were clean, I suppose. Staff is very nice and friendly. "

"All areas of the property were dirty- inside and out . The room was nothing as described online. The photos posted online were from opening day I’m sure when the building was new and clean. When I complained about the room and the description posted online I asked for a refund- it was denied. No help from property staff and less help from corporate. Corporate said it was up to property management discretion to offer refunds and they were not responsible for any discrepancy on property online profile stating thy only allowed use of their name for privately owned. A complaint was filed with Expedia - who issued a small credit to use with our next stay but were also unable to provide any further assistance with the complaints or refund requests. "
