Good and affordable option for Lausanne

A very nice room, equipped with everything a guest needs: kettle with coffee sachets, fridge with glasses and a big jar, iron and even ironing board. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. On our arrival they gave us a small chocolate! (The reception desk is a part of a kitchen 😳). Overall, a pleasant stay.

For the price, I'd prefer working a/c and fridge

If you are arriving in Lausanne by train, the hotel is conveniently located between a couple of stops on metro line 2. I chose a double room rather than a single and therefore had a significantly larger room for very little additional money. The air conditioning didn't work and the fridge didn't keep anything cold. I asked the front desk if these problems could be fixed and the very nice lady at the front desk called the management who said the answer was "no". Apparently, management thinks a/c is unnecessary in Lausanne in September so it is switched off throughout the hotel and the fridge is an ex-minibar and isn't supposed to keep things cold. Other than that, the hotel was fine. It's near a big coop, which I found convenient.

GREAT STAY

An amazing hotel. Perfect location and close to everything, bars, restaurants, shops, museums and train station. The room was fantastic. Very spacious, modern and maintained well. It was spotless clean. The balcony was great with a nice view. Oh, and the Swiss chocolate fountain in the lobby....WOW..what a nice gesture.

Nice and clean hotel in the center of Lausanne. The top floor rooms get very warm during the summer and it is hard to sleep well. I would not recommend the hotel during that period.

This is a very new location that is still partly under construction, as of Jul 2023. Good location but, in my opinion, very much understaffed. The hotel location is only staffed after 12 noon for around 5-6 hours (I remember, unstaffed at night). You need to check in at a nearby hotel. Good budget hotel if price is right, I guess.

Great new hotel

For being a brand new hotel, this was a great place to stay! There are obviously some kinks they're still working out (e.g., not all the rooms were ready upon arrival after the stated check-in time, there was some construction mess downstairs and in the elevator), but overall, I would recommend staying here. It's in a great location in Lausanne - very close to the water, walking distance to public transportation, shopping, and several decent restaurants and coffee shops. The staff here are incredible and regularly went out of their way to check in on us, make sure we were having a good stay, and providing information regarding the area. Bonus - it has AC!
