"We enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and well located. There were some mice running about and we did find droppings in the bed, although the house was otherwise very clean and well appointed. We would have liked some coffee left in the cabinet at least for the first morning and the bedroom could use some hooks for clothes or coats. "When Mieke welcomed us, we felt immediately at home she couldn't have done more to make us feel at home and this continued through the week, checking on us and providing us with cooling fans, advice on places to see and anything else we needed. The property rustic with huge amount of character. It is in a very rural quiet setting but within an easy drive of places of interest in the Dordogne and Vezere valleys. Would definitely recommend if traditional is what you are after."

"The property was ideal for us, great enclosed garden for our dog. Kathy was very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is quite rustic which is reflected in the price. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for anyone with a dog. Very close to Sarlat which is beautiful . "The staff was friendly and helpful. The parking was a bit difficult, but was just as it had been described. Our only complaint was the old wooden support beams in our room (room 36). In both the bedroom and the bathroom, these supprt beams took up room and were low enough for a tal person to need to stoop down to pass them. Ii guess it's the charm of modern retrofitting of an older structure. "
