The accommodations were very satisfying, the food at the restaurant was excellent and the management very cordial and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay and experience.
The whole experiance from check in all through the evening was a great experiance. It is an absolutly wonderful bar restuarant and victorian style room
The restaurant had excellent food choices and staff were friendly. The suite was comfortable and clean. I would recommend a stay here.

We ate at the restaurant before check in. The food was really good. The room was nice and comfortable. The room was advertised as having breakfast. There was coffee and tea. There were a few individually packed cerals and muffins and Danish. However all of the food was pat it's expiration date.
Bob the owner goes up and beyond! He’s there’s to check you in, show you to your room, he works in the restaurant with what ever needs done, food was great!!
Loved our stay ! Property is decorated in historical style, but exceptionally clean. The rooms are huge, Check in and check out were extremely easy and hassle free. Parking is available on the street, but there is a public lot across the street if no street lots are available.
Super close to all the main attractions in Deadwood with out being in the craziness on Main St. downtown Deadwood is a quick 5 minute drive
Stamphill is in an old boarding house. Rooms are upstairs and there is no elevator which can be tricky if you have mobility issues. The room was clean and spacious. Bob, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and saloon below the room were both good. Especially after a long drive when you don’t want to go very far to eat.

The property is wonderful, staff was incredible, and management/ownership went above and beyond. We will definitely be back!
The property was a perfect balance of historical architecture and modern amenities. This time of year it was also not over crowded with people. I'd stay there again.
The check in and personal service/tour of the room and hotel was excellent. The area surrounding the hotel is magnificent. My wife and I walked around the Main Stret area and loved the local shops and views.
The Stampmill is in an old building in downtown Lead, and it has wonderful old woodwork but modern amenities. The room was clean and comfortable. My wife commented that the windows were not double-paned and let some outside noise get through, but it was very minor. The owner was helpful and answered when we texted regarding some supplies needed. Our suite had a living room with TV, a separate bedroom with TV, and a bathroom. There is no separate lot to park in, but we had no trouble finding parking on the street. We would recommend the Stampmill.
Very quaint and comfortable old Victorian hotel. We stayed in suite 1 that had a living room and separate bedroom and bathroom. We were the 1st guests of the new owners and only guests during our stay. We loved it!

There was partying and and screaming going on at the bars near this area that kept us up until after 1:30. Made the mext morning's drive TOUGH. The owner was incredibly nice and informative so that was a good experience.
Very nice suite with plenty of room to lay things out. The bed was fantastic. The shared kitchen was great with the treats and some breakfast items but I would have liked the pastries to be replenished, what was there was old. All around a good place at a good price, we'll definitely stay here again.
WOW, what an experience. We absolutely loved our stay. This is an original building built in 1897. The room was amazing and so comfortable. The owners of the building are renovating so the restaurant and saloon aren't open yet. The owners are so warm and welcoming. I would stay there over and over again.
Beautiful building. Spacious suites. Appreciated having a living room and bedroom. Bed very comfortable. Kitchen shared with other suite. Easy parking on street. Restaurant downstairs with new kitchen opening soon. Great decor.
We cannot recommend this place. The history of the building was interesting, but we had to check in to the bar next door. There was a young woman in the alley smoking that we at first thought was homeless. Dressed very grungy, sitting in the alley. Turns out she worked in the bar and was the one who was checking us into our room (giving us the key code). The bed was comfy and It was fairly quiet in the street. The kitchen was FILTHY!!! Corners and stairs were disgusting. It needs a complete cleaning and updating.
