Bugs and Rude Staff, Gorgeous Apartment

Beautiful property in the perfect location. Most expensive host fees ever paid, therefor anticipated better service. All our arrival/ departure times were communicated in advance. Arrived approximately 9pm, humid, 29 celsius in the apartment with all open windows. Was informed that "most people prefer that". Required a full day to get apartment to a comfortable temperature even though we were paying for the apartment and services from the 4PM check in time. The lower bedroom was dark, extremely musty smelling, ground level, 10 feet from a restaurant. Greeter was unfamiliar with the apartment: closing windows, wifi password with limited English. First time ever charged additional fee for arriving 50 minutes after "check in time". Also a fee for something else. All in CASH! Immediately reported via text, cockroaches in basement bedroom; lied to twice regarding a "cleaning" crew to be sent, which never occurred. Extremely rude communication from the company such as "there is no waiter behind the door"!! We requested to speak to the manager and were told " I work", thus not available during our stay. Wanted to charge additional CASH to early check out at 5 AM! Staff wanted in person check out, refused to come when we actually checked out, suggested we check out the night before, utilizing our valuable vacation time! They ultimately waved the check out fee and allowed us to leave the keys in the apartment which is what we have done in countless other VRBO apartments. As landlords ourselves, we would recommend an exterminator and a new management team, they are not representing you well.
