Lecce B&B

Lecce is the perfect city for a visit to S. Italy and this B&B made it even better. Perfect location, great service, Italian charm, and modern and clean.

Nice B&B except for the bed bugs

My friend and I originally stayed in the Bordeaux Room at the top which appeared clean and spacious. There was a slight musty smell which we put down to lack of airing in the room (as there is only a small window). Maurizio was very welcoming and the place is well located close to the attractions of Lecce. Breakfast was filling and brought into the room. Sadly after our first night there, we discovered we had been severely bitten by bed bugs, which was quite shocking as we had never experienced this before. We informed Maurizio and he immediately moved us to another room in another building. He also kindly purchased some soothing cream for our bites, which were on our arms, chest and face. However, for the rest of the trip, we were both very uncomfortable and itchy due to the bites we received on the first night, and this definitely put a dampener on what should have been a pleasant and relaxing weekend away in Lecce.
