"The coffee machine in the room did not function. I asked staff at the reception to take care of that. They didn’t. The matras of the bed was too hard. Because of that I did not sleep well. There was a lamp in the room, that gave constantly alarming signals. We couldn’t turn it off. The system of the turning on/off of lighting was much too complex. They did not clean the bathroom. "

"Wonderful hotel, friendly service, good food, all in the middle of Leeuwarden. We stayed in room #1, which had a view of a canal. The room was very spacious, bed was comfortable. "Netjes en schoon, maar niet geschikt als gezin. Teveel rumoer buiten en onze bovenburen maakten veel lawaai middenin de nacht na het stappen. We moesten ook nog extra betalen voor handdoeken en bedlinnen, dat zit normaliter toch echt in een hoteltarief. "

"The hotel is right in the centre of Workum and has a big terrace on the main square. Plenty of free parking close by. We were there on the busiest weekend of the year, yet still received a warm welcome and were well looked after during our 2 nights' stay. The only negative was that the (spacious) room was very cold and the aircon difficult to adjust."
