"I LOVED this hotel! It's so clean, the room had no musty smell that some of the other places I stayed had which I was relieved about. The room is big, the pool and nature around the property is gorgeous. I had a delicious fruit and watermelon juice breakfast. Its across the street from Icon Bali which is wonderful, but its very quiet and peaceful. You can walk to the beach and everything you could need from here. I would def stay here again."

"The Location: Truly unbeatable. The main street is right outside, and the beach is just a few hundred yards away via a dedicated walkway. You have an endless choice of bars, cafes, restaurants, mini-marts, and boutiques right on your doorstep. Even with The Icon right next door, the hotel manages to feel incredibly private and unobtrusive. The Room & Pool: Our downstairs room was outstanding—perfect bed, great pillows, and a brilliant open-air bathroom with a fantastic shower and large bath. The private porch steps directly out into a lush garden, and just four steps later, you are at the pool. This is the best hotel pool I’ve ever experienced. The size and water temperature are perfection. The hotel's water fountains completely mask the street noise, creating a peaceful sanctuary. The Staff & Service: The staff are exceptional, embodying that gorgeously warm and engaging Balinese hospitality. The entire hotel and the rooms are kept spotlessly clean without any fuss. I cannot speak highly enough of this establishment. It is just a wonderful place to stay and we will return here in a heartbeat. Highly recommended! PS - we paid a little extra to get the daily à la carte breakfast at the Glass House next door. After some initial doubts, we found this to be very convenient and good value, especially as we’ve become rather cynical of buffets. "Great location, right on the beach walk, only a 5 min walk to the icon mall and right beside the turtle conservation centre where you can release a turtle back into the wild for a small donation. Breakfast was good, just enough to get you up and going for the day. Pool was large and a great place to spend the hot days, staff are always helpful. We stayed in a suite which was more than plenty of room for a couple, there’s a massage centre at the hotel which provided a great relaxing getaway from the hot days. We would stay here again if we were to stay in Sanur."

"We had a wonderful stay at Samatra and would definitely return! The staff were incredibly friendly and so kind and accommodating whenever we had a request. The layout was a little different than we expected regarding the kitchen—it isn’t a full kitchen, as it only includes a fridge and a sink without a cooking stove. Also, the bathtub is located outside, so we primarily stuck to using the indoor shower. However, the surrounding nature and wildlife made it completely worth it. The views are absolutely beautiful! We loved waking up to kites flying, birds chirping, and even little lizards crawling around the room. My daughter was absolutely thrilled with all the animals, reptiles, and bugs. It was such a cute and memorable experience for her!"
