"We have stayed at the Kveldsro for a week plus on two occasions, and really enjoyed ourselves each time. The hotel is not a new building, but as a result is full of character. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms fairly recently updated. The dining room and many of the bedrooms have a wonderful view over the Lerwick harbour. "The hotel was close to a bus stop which for me was great as I don't drive. It was about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Lerwick and it involved walking up a few hills but it was possible to get a bus from the hotel. The hotel its self was clean and comfortable. I ate at the hotel every evening of my stay as there was no nearby restaurants. The food was very nice but very expensive I would recommend getting a bus to and from the airport as its so much cheaper than the taxis, which were...

"The hotel was close to a bus stop which for me was great as I don't drive. I ate at the hotel every evening of my stay as there was no nearby restaurants. The food was very nice but very expensive I would recommend getting a bus to and from the airport as its so much cheaper than the taxis, which were expensive and you can catch a bus from down the road I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a short stay on the island "
