"Great Hotel with underground parking. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely fresh produce and a good variety. Bar area was very cool with dartboard. Staff very friendly and helpful. Walking distant along the river to town and beach."

"I have stayed in this Hotel many times now, with my wife, my children and alone - it is the first place past the tunnel and does not look appealing from the outside. In fact it looks like something from the 1970s - but do not let that put you off - The staff, the flexibility make up for the look. The staff are what makes it- want a drink at 1am, no problem, want a pizza for the kids, no problem - want to practice some French- they will speak French even though their English is probably better than your own- -- and the French CRS Police use is it for their meetings and training sessions - it is probably the safest place in Europe- these guys are smart, polite and always around doing whatever it is they do - and I have never felt as safe in a hotel. These guys are fit, armed and look like they mean business. And they are always in this hotel. They do not interact, other than a friendly hello, but you feel very safe. I love this hotel - it may not look pretty, but the staff are excellent and the food, while not fancy is very good value for money. - I have paid a lot more in the UK and France and got a lot less, _ I will stay here again,"

"As usual the holiday inn calais served us well. It may just be the area as it was quite loud with traffic. We always request a sea view room so again, we should be used to the noise by now!"

"We stay at this hotel a few times a year as a midway stop off. It has really nice staff, many speak english but even the staff who don't are friendly and we find a way to communicate. It is always nipping clean, nice towels and linens. It does breakfast and dinner as extras and it always looks smashing😊 Has free secure parking."

"One night stay for early ferry next morning. Lovely location easy parking room clean spacious and comfortable. Town and historic buildings around hotel are charming. Good on site restaurant and some good options nearby. Would definitely recommend "
