"It is a historic rustic hotel. It is clean. Remember when booking, there is no air conditioning in the rooms. It is pretty nice at night with fans in the window. Keep the fan in the windows all day though, to help the temp. If you are hot natured be prepared. It had a nice feel and we had a very small room. It was clean, but Remember there wont be a little microwave or fridge. It is a really neat place and had food,drinks, coffee and whatever you needed for the most part. After figuring out the fan situation, and just the general atmosphere it was awesome. There are cool trails all over the place. We will go back there with family, except get a cabin for the room and more windows. This place was very family friendly. Families gathered there around the tables and had laughs and good conversations. Besides the room being too warm, it was great and I wouldn't choose a different place to stay. There are really fancy places in Tahoe, this is laid back and fun. Lots of smiles."
