"Arcadia Bungalow #1 was so cute and well stocked. There were fresh flowers on the counter and porch. We had plenty of places to sleep, a pool to play in and a kitchen to cook in. There were so many towels and pillows! The toys were a big hit too. The showers were awesome, with all of the different functions and the loft was wonderful for the bigger kids to hang out in. I spoke with Katherine on the phone a couple of times and she was so kind and easy to talk to. I greatly appreciated her!"

Shepherd Mountain Inn

10/10 Excellent

"We love the motel vibe and that's exactly what we got! The owner of the property and the restaurant was at the front desk when we arrived, and he was super friendly and helpful. He even gave us some samples of their beef sticks, which were phenomenal, and we highly recommend you ask about! The room was super clean with plenty of towels and an ice-cold refrigerator. We ate dinner at the restaurant in front of the property, and it was excellent also! The pulled pork and ribeye are delicious! The next morning we ate the free breakfast in the lobby, and it was, again, excellent! Close by lots of sites to visit, a very convenient location. Overall, we were very impressed, and if we are ever back that way, we will stay there again. Highly recommend!"

"I loved my stay here, except for the bed, which was hard as a titanium hitchball on the back end of an Alaskan snowmobile. I Thought about sleeping on the floor but it looked too soft to get comfortable. It was like sleeping on a pool table that lost its felt. All joking aside, I would stay at this wonderful place again on a heartbeat, but I’m asking for a soft bed. Loved the experience."

"This place has been an amazing experience. Everything flowed effortlessly. The hosts are extremely accommodating. Very fun town and great for children. Nice neighborhoods to walk the dogs in and Casey’s is 1 block away; easy to walk to for any needs that come up. Decor in the apartment cute and comfy. Pickle ball was a hit for the kids. We will definitely come back to this place over and over again."

"It’s a great location to be able to walk to shops and restaurants in Ironton. It was a short drive to visit and hike at Millstream Gardens. The breakfast at Pickle & Perk was delicious and we had enough to have two meals. We recommend the chocolate chip banana muffins along with the egg hand pie. We stayed in the courtyard so there was some noise in the mornings when the restaurant opened due to it being directly below us. The place was spacious, clean and comfortable. We appreciated being able to bring our dog."
