"My wife and I frequently vacation to San Diego. This is by far the best experience we’ve had renting out a place. Everything was very clean. The hosts also made sure to think about nearly everything someone would need including towels, beach equipment, floaties for the pool, aloe Vera, mosquito repellent. The small details is what makes this the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re living in a home away from home. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Great relaxing vibes with awesome amenities. Pool, bed and bathroom were elite! "

"Excellent place to stay when visiting UCSD, it’s just 15 minutes drive to UCSD. When I took my son for UCSD Open House, we stayed here. The room is clean, has awesome breakfast, plenty of parking lots and free. The hotel is close to Highway 5, so it’s very convenient but not feel noisy at all."

We were able to get down to the beach easily, the bluffs made a natural wind break, and when it got warm, a short walk into the shallow waters left us refreshed and ready for the walk back up the stairs! Easy check-in and touch-Base communications made us feel taken care of - thank you! "

"We booked this property based on the listing description of “direct access to the sand and sea,” along with photos that appeared to show a staircase leading down to the beach. Upon arrival, we were unable to find a staircase or direct access point from the property and instead needed to use a public access route down the street.The home is also part of a duplex, which was not immediately clear to us when booking. With a larger group, we did notice sound carrying between units and received a noise complaint despite using the home as intended.During our stay, we experienced a full-house power outage that lasted approximately 2.5 hours, which required us to reschedule planned activities. There were also a few maintenance concerns, including doors in the back that did not lock properly, a shower door that was off track, and uneven patio areas where some members of our group tripped.The hot tub did not reach a hot temperature during our stay. In addition, the floors appeared to need more thorough cleaning, as socks became visibly dirty shortly after walking inside.The location itself is great, but overall the property experience did not fully match what we expected based on the listing."
